Russian Invasion of Ukraine 2022

Has this been shared before? Apparently it's now legal to spew hatred towards anything Russian related to Ukraine.

It's limited to a handful of countries, so it's not all-out. That said, it's incredibly hypocritical. I'm not sure if anyone here actually expected anything less of tech companies these days.

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.

It is but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Hypocrisy for thee but not for me.

edit: They didn't like that.

Russia is slow rolling their documentary evidence as usual. But its becoming clear Kherson was a complete UkA disaster.

Again we must look at the map, and it is clear UkA is being crushed on the battlefield. Their tactical successes are irrelevant at the operational level. They have 2 choices, martyrdom, taking as many Russians down with them as they can, or honorable surrender under honorable terms to avoid being marched down Red Square in a humiliating fashion.

Ok... Strip them of their licenses and boot them for violating their oaths.

You realize you continually posting that map doesn't actually make it accurate right?

Also... You continually seem to be forgetting that Russia can't actually sustain this war for more then maybe another month or two...

1. This is the most accurate map around.

2. Russia is an industrial state with a large pool of manpower that vastly outnumbers Ukraine's and has a real economy with real currency and can sustain this war as long as it wishes to.

3. UkA has not been able to break the siege of Kyiv extricate the pockets and is having its industry and depots wiped, further crippling its ability to fight.

Guess Assad finally ran out of tanks

He didn't. It's just that rebels are confined to the Turkish protectorate, where their main pastime is killing each other over protection money they extort from the civilians and going abroad as Turkish mercenaries.

Assad has more AFVs than he started the Civil War with
Not really, SAA suffered massive material losses, both from combat and from poor maintenance, while Russia did replace some of it, their armored inventory is now of more ''managable'' size. T-55s are now almost gone from the inventory, mostly replaced by T-62s sent by Russia, T-72 inventory is greatly reduced and they have some T-90s as well.

The Russians ARE advancing. This is indisputable fact that every analyst has observed and acknowledged. They've had strong success in the south, where there's less mud and their vehicles are afforded more mobility. They're currently forming up a land bridge and preparing for an assault on Odessa. Analysts suspect that after the coast is taken, the Russians will send forces north to further encircle Kiev.

I'd also like to see your analysis or your source for Russia being unable to sustain their war for more than 1-2 months, which is frankly the most ridiculous thing I've heard about this war thus far. Well, that and stupid Twitter twats thinking that any war that goes on longer than a week is somehow a colossal failure.

Within a week, Russia is likely to control over 30% of the world's wheat exports. You honestly think the US can just lock them out?

That list is rather unrealistic, much of stuff there is rusting away in dump depots, there is no way they are still using 200+ BTR-152, their BTR-60 were written off before the war and were mostly used as towed metal piboxes, there is no way 650 are in use, T-55s are also mostly written off, there is no way 1600 of them are in use. To put it simply, their maintenance capabilities are limited, so with Russians replacing their lost material with better stuff, their armored forces are better equipped and more experienced, but also smaller than they were before war.

BTR-152s are used by police forces and are still viable gun platforms.

BTR-60s were mostly scrapped as the article states.

T-55s were given mid life restorations pre-war with many receiving lasers sights and capability to launch ATGMs. They are still viable gun platforms and used for fire support by NDF units. Otherwise they are in deep storage till the Syrian State decides to sell them for scrap.

Brutal, but if it speeds up surrenders, Putin will do so.

Will take his word on it.

Ok... Where Fast Food Restaurants fled, this Company has zero fucks. I like.

Best update so far on approximate locations of units.

"Russia cannot sustain its air losses [at the present rate] for more than a fortnight"

Holy shit.
It seems I was right about the maturnity hospital being turned into a Azov position after they kicked out the women and hospital staff.
"4. Why isn't there any blood?
"7. Why is there a bucket of fake blood?"

...Yeah, OK bud.

More posts pruned. Most were relating to Assad, comparisons to the Iraq War or posts that were engaged in personal speculation and commentary. As stated in previous staff posts, personal hot takes can go to the Donb Ass thread. The primary purpose of this thread is discussing and covering the events of this conflict. Also as stated before anyone wanting to celebrate the conflict or other propagandistic behavior can do that in the Donb Ass thread as well. And again if your disagreeing with sources, provide counter evidence, not your own random speculation in this thread. This is also true if your just being contrarian because you think one side or the other is automatically lying. This thread and I won't care about your personal viewpoints. The Donb Ass thread is for random Sietcher speculation, biased and otherwise. You can recreate your adversarial CNN Panel discussions there. A few posts pertaining to the ongoing Biolab speculation were moved to the Biolab discussion.

Some posts that were 'newsworthy' but also had excessive commentary on Assad or other topics were moved to the Donb Ass thread unfortunately, more to keep the 'conversations threads' intact instead of bouncing them between threads.

Do we know any DPR/LPR casualties? I'm not sure if the separatist losses are higher than the losses sustained by the regular Russian military.

The presumed first loitering munition was found in Ukraine. The Kalashnikov of loitering munitions... In that it's made by Kalashnikov.

Supposedly it was shot down. Here's some info on the littering munition... Hurr hurr.

Belarus has backed down a second time from deploying troops into Ukraine but will instead send forces to secure their shared border.

We won't know any firm numbers till the shooting stops. Especially from Russia as their MoD is very adamant about not fighting the war on Social Media except in specific circumstances where it is beneficial to do so.

Hmm, that's a major change from 12 hours ago, as to the last known positions of Russian Troops.

No shortage of ammo, which indicates the raids on convoys are not significant enough to effect operations, and as the Russians clear out the void spaces, the raids will become less intensive and more suicidal to attempt.

Irpin remains hotly contested in a back and forth shit kicking contest.

Hmm, don't know how he arrives by the 20% number, but ok. This is more useful in assessing who is where.
