Commander of the Neptune attack on the Moskva got promoted to Rear-Admiral.
Seems like the Russian orruption meme has resulted in Ruskie's sending soldiers out with wood blocks that are supposed to be TNT and smoke bombs.
There she is, not so wounded as we were led to believe
still sunk but whatever killed her didn't inflict the sort of catastrophic damage an ammo cook off would likely yield
Translation from elsewhere, sourced to a Russian language link, about what happened on the Moskva:
>They tried to put out the fire on their own after the cruiser was hit by three Neptune missiles ( Kyiv says that only two missiles hit - Ed .).
>In the video published by the Russian Ministry of Defense, about 100-150 sailors stand in line in front of Admiral Evmenov.
>the conscripts from the personnel will be fired from May to July
>back in 2017, the Russian Ministry of Defense decided to abandon the use of conscripts on ships, leaving them only for logistical support, since “it will be problematic for a conscript who joined the army for only one year to cope with complex electronic systems
Also, good video by Covert Shores:
TL;DR: Has much less compartmentalization compared to US ships, far more issues with things like firefighting nozzle's being painted over and emergency equipment being locked away except during inspections and PR tours.

So if the people with the keys to the emergency equipment lockers were killed/their keys lost, it's possible the stuff needed to save the ship was not as accessible as it should be.
Also seeing rumors the ship was hit just below/around one of the CIWS systems, so it's ammo likely went up and is what started burning.
Also, notice the soot coming out of the few porthole's near the waterline, and the spots of fire still visible in the frame; it's possible that pic was from before a larger ammo explosion.
