Another client state in the making. "Zelensky announces he is planning to join World Economic Forum in Davos, to sign new postwar loans with BlackRock"

Are you serious? Because this sounds like a 4chan shitpost.
Yes. I didn't post it because I'm waiting for confirmation other than the security officer leaking the black and white security cam on Telegram. There are a lot of Russians talking and jeering about the misfortune.

I'm curious what advice you'd give Ukraine then...?
I believe he is in the isolationism and appeasement side of the debate. People forget their own history.

In other news. Dear Gods! How can the Russians eat these!? I'd rather eat hákarl and fermented shrimp paste uncooked! The flavor would be better. This ration is just empty calories and the minimum nutrition

Not to get off topic, but I've seen the reactions to Hakarl ("rotten shark"), I mean, I guess you COULD survive on it, but...

Not familiar with fermented shrimp paste though, but the name in itself seems a bit foreboding.

That said, one assumes the Russians are getting issued these rations when there's reports some don't have food at all or have to forage or steal.

EDIT: Nice to see the Russians are still apparently using the same hardtack recipe for their biscuits that likely hasn't changed from WW2, or even before that, possibly the time of the Tsars. Also, one of several advantages with the US MRE's? Besides the packaging being sturdy and tough, it's also very flat, you can easily pack several in a pack for several days if needed. Also being flat and compact with vaccum packaging makes it lets susceptible to being crushed and damaged. Good luck trying to pack several of these bulky Russian ration kits in a pack. Also, with the bulky package of the Russian ration and the composition of the rations it's easy for them to be damaged in spite of the cardboard box. You don't want these piled under anything heavy on a pallet or in a vehicle.

At the moment only the remaining survivors of the elite units that Russia expended in the first two months of this invasion, the officers, quartermasters and politically connected units are getting supplies. The higher your rank the greater your supply guarantee. The rest are having to boil muddy water, hunt or steal what they can. Mobniks in the front are in the shit, if they move out of their designated zones the regular army troopers have orders to kill them.

Many mobniks only see the water and food truck once a week if they are lucky. To those bastards this MRE even expired would be a luxury.

The Butcher of Syria, the theatre commander of Russia still enjoys his beluga caviar, mammoth steaks, wagyu flown straight from Kobe and Ohmi, and 30,000 USD bottles of cognac and scotch. His command staff are just as well supplied.

US Rations ain't no picnic either.
True but I've never heard of a botulism and salmonella cases, nor decades expired packs being issued about US MREs, while it's known to happen regularly with Russian rations due to cost cutting measures. Such as thinner packaging and buying near rancid meat. The most I've heard from the USN cooks are that their freeze dried ingredients, kept in the freezer, are sometimes a year to five years past the best by date.

IIRC, most US MREs are actually supposed to last for like half a century, and they'll do things like sell them off to civilian markets when they're getting to be less than a decade from expiration date.
