Is China really a threat to the United States Hegemony?

Right now Rockhound is drinking Hard Liquor going..... "Damn why can't the Seals just be the ones fucking up!!!"
That ex green beret's a weird one. You get these weird oddballs who commit acts of treason sometimes for ideals instead of money.

Did they staff Chinese autists into the diplomatic team?

Look at this shit. Triggered over a cake with a flag of Taiwan. You can make a rascist south park parody over this one where after beating the shit out of the Taiwanese, they jump on and stamp the cake with their feet while screaming china numbuh one before ripping off their shirts and beating their chest like a gorilla with those most Asian sounding voice.

PRC does not consider Tiawan a country. Seeing a flag of thiers makes the one showing said flag beilive that Taiwan is a country, which CHina says it is not. I also said PRC because Taiwan is the ROC

... and it also helped that the mafia didn't want to replace the government either. If any of them had the same political desires as the cartels of this day and age back then? Well, they've just gotten themselves to priority #2 if I read Edgar right.

He had always considered the KKK and their allies (i.e. the reactionary right) as enemy #1 if I read Edgar right.
The KKK is literally a Democrat institution.

Was the cake okay at least? 😢

Officially, yes. But, in reality? We all know that's bunk, and China does, too.

Taiwan is its own country now like how North and South Korea are from the original Korea. The culture and even language have diverged. Hell, I think there was a poll a while back that said they, the younger and middle-aged generation, saw themselves as "Taiwanese" than Chinese, compared to the older folks who saw themselves as Chinese (not China-Chinese, though).

China still sees them as a Rogue state and wants to deal with them as well. To the Chinese they are not Taiwan or the ROC but instead they are a Rogue state no one should even think exists.

None of that means it isnt the peak of spergy childish idiocy to throw a public tantrum over a cake.

Yeah. Debts can be a very temporary problem. People cant sieze chinese assets. All the factories and human capital is already built up. And they have a huge built up ownership in foreign assets as well.

Companies that are based on real assets can go through bankruptcy relatively unscathed. China is mostly based on real assets, so even if it goes through bankruptcy can go through it relatively unharmed.

And China wants to promote non-oil-based mobility so much, that they even offered a pretty sweet deal to Elon Musk and Tesla (Shanghai Gigafactory).

I don't think the US is actually a hegemon. If we were, the trade policies and military situation would be far more to our advantage. The Institute for Policy Studies and the rest of the CPUSA academics and fronts are pushing that narrative hard, but a true hegemon would have never allowed China to rise in the first place.

Not if you have lasers (for general use) and more specifically UV pulse lasers (to get rid of those pesky hypersonic missiles or reentry vehicles). Since the US has been hitting both with a lot of money despite the sequester and have been preparing for multi-megawatt lasers for a while now...

... it's going to be interesting to be a missile or nuclear warhead, to say the least. Stealth wouldn't be far behind so aircraft would soon follow unless we suddenly develop literal Battletech armor.
