Is China really a threat to the United States Hegemony?

As someone who works in the IC and one day, should I not stay in the Army, join the FBI, he is someone to look up to who is hard on crime

Why? His tenure tracks the worst period of crime in US history, the build up of a vast communist subversion, and the general subverision of democracy as power moved from politicians to the perminant deep state, of which we see over and over that the FBI is one of the central sources of corruption and dirty dealings.

Edit: thus outside of the way you admire whoever stalins head of the KGB was at totally supressing desent, why praise such a fairly unambigous villian, whos main claim to fame is good or and crushing his enemies, not you know, achieving much of anything?

Its like praising LBJ for good intitions on the war on poverty.

Curshing ones enemies efficiently is a good thing.
I work in the IC, as long as I do not like Snowden or Manning, anyone who is big name of the IC I love

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
What I do find interesting about these spying cases is the reason to spy against the country you serve especially if it's not your "homeland."

If China one day does go to war with the US, how many Chinese Americans will choose the mainland over the country that gave them US citizenship? What will it be? Loyalty to the mainland of their ancestors or loyalty to their citizenship provider?

Get caught spying during war time is treason

That's the choice for them if it happens.

Even that ex Green beret and the NYPD cop I consider treason on principle in peacetime because they're sharing secrets to a foreign country.

Oh yeah. Especially someone like him
Yes. Selling out for profit, bitches or materialistic desires is fine and all provided you make out like a bandit but the problem next is getting caught or living well after slipping away.

It only exacerbated what the foreigners did.

Not really, Britain's Geopolitical goals are completely opposite of the goals of the European Union. Britain's geopolitical goals for Europe has always been and will be (for a few decades) to keep all of Europe divided and weak as possible. That is no longer possible. Right now, it is a rhyme with the Articles of Confederation era of the US... just with the added situation of one lesser member that joined in late wanting out and a fight between two of the most powerful players within the union vying for supremacy.

That's the situation with the European Union right now. People keep forgetting that the US had a similar time before we adopted the Constitution.
The situation is similar but the circumstances are completely different.

Yes, the various US states have their own cultural identities --mostly from European roots-- but they don't have the history European countries have.

Us Europeans were fighting and killing one another pretty much since time began. There's a lot of history, a lot of grudges, there that the US states don't have in comparison. Unification only really occurred from kicking the shit out of your opponent and taking their shit for your own.

Hell, we were still murdering one another up 'til 80-odd years ago!

That, I feel, is what's going to stop any sort of true Federalization from occurring, like it did in America: there's too much history, and too much bad blood at least in culture, minimum.

And without it? The EU has about half a decade, tops, before it begins to dissolve de defacto. We even saw elements of this during the initial Corona Panic, where betrayals, squabbles over supplies (in some cases actually stealing shit meant for another EU country), and "lolnope, fuck you, you're on your own. XX first!" attitudes came into play.

See Delta is the one that don't, because they are so heavily vetted and watched, they would most likely disappear then get arrested
