I mean he is in a wierd case. If you know anything about having a TS clearance. In order to have relations with a foreign countries government you have to have permission from the US Government. HIGH permission.

For instance, I can lose my job and my clearance if I hide that I am in contact with a foreign government official. Perhaps even worse then just that.

So how does that work with forums on the internet where you don't usually know who someone is irl? I'm genuinely curious

Well personal connection. Like best friends or having dinner with or working with. Anything besides talking to them on an online forum.
 
Right now, the USA doesn't have enough soft power to force China out of the WTO.
Stealing tech - everybody does that. The US as a long story of doing that before, right now China is doing that - to be correct is almost at the point that doesn't need that.

Well should they attack Taiwan it seems like we can kick them out.

There is also the fact Trump may find a way to get them out if he gets reelected

We could have nuked China as well, but 5 years after our own, maybe even sooner use of the atomic bomb, russia had their own.

He was not prosecuted for any such violation. He was prosecuted for 'lying' to the FBI, two agents that stated that he hadn't lied in their report. This was a corrupt Soviet style political prosecution by a renegade agency that needs to die for its sins.

Soviet nukes were largely irrelvant until the early 70s. They had no capability to hit the US in any substantial way. This is why they wanted miesles in Cuba now thier conventional capabilities. Well that's a different story they likley could've pushed us out of Europe.

During the Korean War MacArthur wanted to nuke China.

Had we done that we most likely would have caused Russia to nuke other countries into submission.

Sure it would've kegtimized nukes as a weapon according to the consensus view. My statementis still correct though.

It did not matter if they could not hit us. It mattered if they could hit our allies or make use of nukes more wide spread
 
China has a ton of issues, economically they are hitting a wall, and manufacturing is pulling out of China. Banks are tanking, Xi is hammering Hong Kong when it is the golden goose for China. Analyst think Xi feels he has to do it for domestic reasons even if it crashes economy.(Covid just makes it worse).

Social issues we do not often see here in the west,( funny how mass media ignores negative china news?). The one child policy has caused huge issues with the male/ female ratio, so much so slave brides are becoming popular again.

People are having issues with environmental problems. 800k dead from bad air quality per year according to the UN( China says 0, just like current Covid cases).

That’s one thing I think they should never have done decades ago

Like, did they take into account how they expect Males to take care of the parents and for Females to leave and marry into someone else’s family and NOT bring their parents along?

Hell, did they have to make it mandatory? I mean I’ve heard horror stories more than a decade ago about how they even visit from house to house just to check for a pregnancy and already have the drugs ready for it

Reminds me, they have lots of graduates but not enough high class jobs and even a guy with a PHD could end up working in a factory, many years and much money wasted there to be the head of a very small and increasingly smaller group of demoralized people

Corruption is the biggest issue while being a media buzz everytime the CCP punishes some sub who lacks connections to skate on corruption.

Private aircraft are banned for private citizens, but multiple hundreds of private jets fly around China, and somehow do not end up with an A2A missile in the pipe.

Recently China banned $$$$$ from going out of the country. At least for the people who can not do what they want.
 
in 1950 through 1952 the Soviets didn't have a viable nuclear arsenal which makes sense because their first few bombs were pretty much rushed in a successful attempt to make the USSR look stronger while the needed infrastructure to make a large arsenal was still being set up. Plus in said time period nothing the Russians had could actually carry their bombs
