United States The Left Can't Meme

Zyobot

Just a time-traveling robot stranded on Earth.
Pride also "goes before a fall".

Someone who knows they're about to fall will stop and steady themselves before continuing. Someone who doesn't might need assistance just to get back on their feet and stand.

Others, meanwhile, will actively drive away those who offer their assistance and forcibly steer the rest of us onto that same path, because they’re so goddamned arrogant that anyone who tries to point out “Hey, there’s a chasm up ahead!” must secretly be a Nazi stirring up hate in an effort to usher in the Fourth Reich or something. :cautious:

King Krávoka

An infection of Your universe.
The first comic is not that bad. Both seem like people who have 'won'. Though the Liberals may not see it that way.
It's off-topic entirely, there was no political intent at all and Bear Ribs was just pointmongering to put it here.

Here's one that's quite terse. Not sure if Greenpeace counts as "Left" though...

Honestly, I feel like this is a good leftist meme. No wall of text, a reasonably clever dichotomy, the pictures are directly relevant to the message, and you can get the point immediately from looking at it. This is exceptionally well made by leftist meme standards.

Threadtax: Going with "Wrong Imagery" as a theme this time.

This one's obviously made by AI, after a few thousand of them its style starts to become apparent. It's unsurprising, therefore, that it suffers from the usual issues of AI that it won't give you the exact details you want. This looks like they probably plugged fascism in there somewhere but it's a mishmash of USSR and WW2 imagery, the background cars are irrelevant, and Elon Musk doesn't have a mustache. That's beyond the fact that they couldn't make it an entire quarter without deciding a guy who disagreed with them was literally Hitler.

Wut.

The level of reaching here is just crazy. It makes the silly one I did about Oreo Cookies being Knight Templar symbology look sane and well-thought-out in comparison. This is quite literally what Schizophrenia looks like.

This just makes Elon look cool; like he's delivering the rocketpunk future we were promised.

This one is really weirdly specific to the extent that I wonder if the creator was actually ranting about a specific person for some reason.
I guess TimPool? Or just shot talking West Virginia because poorest most uneducated state?

I dunno, does Tim Pool have a reputation for wearing pajamas in public? Also I don't think he fits in their categories of "Fatass or a Twig."

Naw, the general vibe I have is that this writer was bitching about some dude who he saw at Wal-Mart that irritated him by wearing Pajamas and Axe body spray. The pajamas thing really stands out to me because it's not the kind of thing normally associated with any particular political identity... actually it's usually associated with handicapped people which makes me think this is so specifically targeted.

if you look at it as complaining about people you see at Walmart the meme does become more accurate.

you do see people just go to walmart in their pajamas. they are often very poor and live in either a trailer park or shitty apartment. while the slogan is way off base their vehicles are often covered in bumper stickers some of which can be very political. in some areas it is either work at a gas station, work in fast food, or work at the walmart/dollar general if you are only really capable of unskilled labor.

while a 10 year loan is not accurate new trucks are like 60k. and the used market is going up in price. a lot of the older vehicles are hitting the end of their life span. there were several years of lemons made as care manufacturers tried to keep up with emissions goals. the cash for clunkers program obama did further thinned the used car market way back then. used to be you could get a decent used vehicle for a couple grand and it would last a few years.

the next one is just looking down on places the poor people go. not surprised as this is a lefty. axe spray is more a highschool/collage age kid thing than anything else. hoarder cars are more of a city folk thing from what I have seen. though some high schoolers do treat their care as a trash receptacle.

unhealthy diet is a problem for most of America so yeah most are either over weight by a lot or under weight. that said you can tell who has a job that keeps them active and outside. alcohol abuse, tobacco addiction, and other drug issues are sadly quite common. there is a sense of depression in a lot of these small communities that know they are just going to get passed over and ignored by their state and federal government.

overall mostly accurate if you shift it like that but still too much text so it is not a snappy meme.
