And now with video!
Allegedly anyways.
Supposedly at least one section was hit and one support piling collapsed already, also reports of bodies near the scene.

Using military amphibious warships to ferry civilians and their vehicles in a warzone sounds like an irresponsible thing to do.
Russia being Russia
Well, guess Putin wants to see if they can make the Soyuz have a 'ground attack mode', it seems.

While I do recall that accuracy was among the issues with attempts to realize the "Rods from God" concept, I doubt even Russia would miss that badly. And when they inevitably miss Ukraine and hit some other country - you know, an actual NATO member - they'll likely instigate the war they DON'T want.
Ukraine May Start Receiving the GLSDB (Glide Launched Small Diameter Bomb) Munitions this coming Fall or Winter.
Ukraine Struck the Oktyabr'skoye Airfield located deep within Crimea, striking an ammunition dump located there.
Russians Successfully Eliminated a Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate located in Odessa and a UNESCO Historical Site. The Transfiguration Cathedral is described as the foremost Church in the city, having been founded in 1794 and by 1808 was the main Church in the city. Stalin demolished much of the Church in 1936, but it was rebuilt in 1999 only for Putin to destroy it again in 2023.
The Palace of Culture in Chasiv Yar, located West of Bakhmut, was also struck by Russian Forces, reportedly with cluster munitions.
What Moscow are using ? V1 ? becouse they certainly do not wonted to damage that Church, only missed real target.
They're apparently running low on Kh-22 Anti-Ship Missiles so they're firing more 'modern' P800 Onyx antiship missiles at Odessa now.
Both are exceptionally inaccurate but harder for the current Ukrainian Air Defense in Odessa to intercept.
Given it's Russia, this is most likely true. It's pretty much what Germany did in WW2 with their V weapons.Or, they just don't care and want terror
They have radar/inertial guidance. So they are either fired on inertial guidance alone, which they aren't meant to use as primary means of guidance hence the precision, or they do turn on the radar seeker, which in ground attack would likely go crazy with the amount of returns and probably go for the largest target it notices when the seeker gets turned on (which if fired at a naval battlegroup would normally mean a carrier or other large warship).P800 are designed to hit warships, so don't need that level of precision. But you can also add - maybe the coordinates of the target were wrongly introduced aka human error, or EW defensive fucking the navigation system, or old missile systems are degraded. So many reasons why the missile fails a designated target during wartime are not even funny.
Well,at least poor missile died thinking, that it sunked carrier.....They have radar/inertial guidance. And that church does sound like something with largest radar return in the area.
