Short thread on some of the Brave Russians who Set Out to Help DeNazify Ukraine.

Russian troops setting up a Soviet banner in occupied Kherson to show to the packed crowds of thousands of cheering locals.

Russian Tank, suspected to be a Naval Infantry T-80 redeployed from the Kyiv front, on fire in Mariupol.

Another Ka-52 Attack Helicopter reportedly shot down by an Igla MANPAD.

A Russian Su-34 was also reportedly shot down near Izyum.

A tank turret has been relocated to the 5th floor of a building in Mariupol. The crew is likely unharmed, safely ejected from the vehicle since Russian tank turrets are designed as basically a giant explosive panel/ejection seat.

Wasn't this one posted as a turret from Ukrainian T-64 couple of weeks ago?

It's Zhirinovsky's party, it's common for them to put forward insane proposals, so that everyone else can look sane by comparison. It's the same party that during the bird-flu scare demanded that all anti-aircraft units are moved to border and shoot down all migratory birds.

Pretty good breakdown on the long term implications of the boring but most important parts of a war. EG: Stockpiles, Industry, Economics ect.

"Amateurs talk strategy; professionals talk logistics."

I feel like Russia's fallen flat on its face in that regard. The war just hasn't gone as quickly as they wanted and there is a genuine possibility of defeat. Given Russia's resources that shouldn't be possible, but here we are.

I don't think the US or Europe currently has the political will to seriously supply Ukraine for the long haul beyond token effort.

A sixteen and seventeen year old pair of Brothers escaped Mariupol, narrowly avoiding being forcibly pressed into service by the Russian military after proving they were under 18.

United Kingdom will be offering Poland Challenger-2 Tanks to replace the T-72 tanks that Poland will be sending to Ukraine.

France is dispatching Caesar 155mm Self Propelled Howitzers and more Milan Anti-Tank Missiles.

The flag of the Soviet Union is proudly flying over a Russian liberated town in Southern Ukraine.

A subversive was discovered in Moscow and quickly identified and arrested.

Reportedly five Russian Military Recruitment Centers have suffered from suspected arson since the War began.

Russia be like "Southern Ukraine isn't really (that) Ukrainian anyway! Just look at 1926 Soviet census data!" ;) (What? Only 96 years has passed since then? Who cares! :D)

Anyone know how to read it? No shit there's US resources to train them but I'd like to know what's in the translation.

As the "FM 2-19.4" label on the top right corner indicates, this is simply a translated U.S. field manual -- FM 2-19.4 is "Brigade Combat Team Intelligence Techniques". This is far from "secret"; the Army Publishing Directorate page has it categorized as "Controlled Unclassified Information", i.e. something that isn't classified or secret, but which they don't freely distribute to the general public.

In other words -- you can't get it from the Army without an official login, but you can literally buy it on Amazon for $3.99.

Plus it’s from 2009 so I doubt the army keeps track of manuals that old

Rest in Peace Colonel Vladimir Kovalenko, killed in Mariupol. Apparently a leader in the Seperatist DNR Ministry of "Internal Affairs."

Ukrainian counteroffensive retaking several towns Northwest of Kharkov.

Canada sending four 155mm M777 Howitzers including potentially a shipment of the fancy 'Excalibur' ammunition.

Belgium preparing a new aid package for Ukraine. Involvea buying back modernized/refurbushed equipment from their own companies.

Seperatist DNR fighters in Mariupol. One if them sticking a recoilless rifle barrel out a window... As you do.
