So, he’s either a fake or a useful idiot based on his opinion of Tucker Carlson? That doesn’t seem like the most rational logic to me unless you have further proof.
The translation is he's either lying or I disagree with him. Which is a pretty normal stance to take with people whom you have ideological differences with. Calling him a useful idiot sounds more negative though.
So many acronyms! You know it's evil!
But yeah shocking to think a person with military and military contracting experience would volunteer under contract abroad.
Seems rather well equipped for a run of the mill volunteer
TBF most of the accounts of foreign volunteers was of those who bailed after the first airstrike out sent packing by the Ukrainians for "mediocre" combat performance. They said they were only giving minimal training and a ratty AK and told they'd be shunted to the front to man a trench in Kyiv. And everyone from former Special Forces to nobodies was being treated the same. And that they'd have to sign away their lives in contracts.
But the account we saw from Task and Purpose with that former American tanker was that a lot of the volunteers inflated their combat pedigree, were unreliable in general, poorly trained, and that the contract was meant to provide them protection if they were captured, and it wasn't binding as he was able to quit after a couple weeks. And they were given better kit as we could see from various social media, not just AK's and many have been doing things beyond getting shelled in trenches. We've seen foreign fighters from France allegedly attacking convoys, plethora of alleged Foreign volunteers with all sorts of kit beyond AK's and even foreign volunteers described as snipers or working with Special Forces.
It's almost as if the Ukranians are trying to do a vetting process for volunteers in the midst of a War and we're only getting snapshots of the first part of that process from many of those foreign volunteer accounts.
