Well all I can say is good riddance. I hope they never learn the absolute horror show of the average Russian citizen. But at the same time if you buy the Russian propaganda enough to move to Russia then you're a security liability that I won't have to worry about anymore. They'll probably use this nitwit, gringo and his family for propaganda.
I'm only incredibly enraged this loon took his kids there with him.
Insane people should lose custody of their children.
Stumbled upon a follow-up:
I just hope he learned more modern tactics and strategy. Zulushny is loved by Ukrainians because he abandoned Soviet Doctrine and emphasized conserving his soldiers and adopting Western equipment and training. If Syrsky falls back on his Soviet Army background Ukraine will loose fast. Human Wave tactics belong in a museum with the muskets
The Ukrainians are a Slavic people but, as evidenced by how the Czechs and the Poles are hardly the same (and they are neighbours) they sure as shit aren’t Russian.I mean, Ukraine has it's own language! Sure, it's related to Russian, but it's been it's own thing for over 200 years. Not the same people anymore.
Cousins, at best.
That’s still more than a smidgeon of Russian propaganda. Moscow was simply a horrible overlord and its former vassals all but fled into American arms the very first chance they got.In reality Nato was getting way to close, freaking Russia out and causing them to lash out to ensure they still have some strategic buffer room.
Eh... sure. True enough. That’s still more than a smidgeon of Russian propaganda.
That's not even true. Back in like 2008 they were talking about trying to convince Ukraine to be more pro-US on live TV.The Ukrainians are a Slavic people but, as evidenced by how the Czechs and the Poles are hardly the same (and they are neighbours) they sure as shit aren’t Russian.
Putin is rather struggling to get his head around that.

If Eastern Europe was not in NATO, Russia would have tried to conquer them again.
It's not the 19th century. "Strategic buffer room" is not worth much if your army is shit and theoretically doesn't even get to fight over it. Especially if it's not mountains or ocean. The Russian Civil War stuff is a fig leaf justification at best.
In reality Nato was getting way to close, freaking Russia out and causing them to lash out to ensure they still have some strategic buffer room.
Then the west decided this was the perfect time to try and bleed Russia dry through a proxy war. It seems to have worked well in that regard.
Unfortunately it seems to have driven Russia straight into a alliance with China. So... not sure if this was the best way to go.
Mostly true, but Łukaszenka tried to remain independent and at least till 2017 contacted Poland about that.Sadly, our eunuchs supported some weak opposition there, who not only hate Poland, but also is too weak to do anything. It's not the 19th century. And that's if they cared about the buffer room remaining that to begin with.
As the case of Belarus shows, they never did, and Russian idea of "neutrality" has quite a different meaning than Swiss one - it means getting closer with Russia, but not anyone else.
The buffer room was a ruse, it was always "places we are interested in reconquista of because they were always ours to begin with, but for now we pretend they are sovereign countries so dumb westerners don't get mad, though we can't let them do anything that will cockblock us from that reconquista, with plausible but ultimately made up points about our fears and insecurities, we are not afraid and we want our empire back, but we will act out any role we need and say any lie they will believe to help make it happen".
Human wave tactics only work when you have human waves.
Russia out numbers Ukrainians 3 to 1 they can get away with that shit at least for awhile. Ukraine cant.
Lukashenka is a smart thief who knows that the only thing better than getting bribes from one side is getting bribes from both sides. But both he, us and Russians know that in the end Russians have a gun to his head and we don't so guess who will he obey.Mostly true, but Łukaszenka tried to remain independent and at least till 2017 contacted Poland about that.Sadly, our eunuchs supported some weak opposition there, who not only hate Poland, but also is too weak to do anything.
As a result,Belarus is now Moscov vassal.

No,they slowly take over their state and made Belarus part of kgbstan. Is Moscow forcing LGBTAGSBDG+++ stuff on Belarus? Are they opening Belarussian real estate to be bought up by foreign investors? Is Belarus being forced to accept millions of settlers from africa? I would say they are better off under Moscows thumb than the thumb of Washington.
And why we do not have gun? PIS had 8 years to made us strong, and wasted that opportunity.Lukashenka is a smart thief who knows that the only thing better than getting bribes from one side is getting bribes from both sides. We do not have a gun to his head because even if we had a gun, our allies would not let us put it up to his head out of fear of escalation with Russia. PiS was never going to make a credible threat of "Special Military Operation in Belarus" to him even if one assumes we had the means. And why we do not have gun? PIS had 8 years to made us strong, and wasted that opportunity.
Now,we have Tusk. The same Tusk, who destroyed polish army after 2007.
Yeah, no; just because I know that endless NATO expansion had a hand in causing this conflict, doesn't mean I'm going to buy those claims. For one thing, trying to assert that it's a "Russian civil war" just exposes that he never thought of Ukraine as a sovereign nation; and as for claims of wanting to "de-Nazify" Ukraine, nobody, even the people who know that there are elements in Ukraine that hold the Nazis in high regard, buys that excuse.I'm curious if anyone here actually believes the "we're just trying to de-Nazify Ukraine" and that the conflict is a "Russian civil war" shit. I mean, I know people here believe the NATO expansion shit, but I'm curious if they believe this other shit, too.
