Zelensky was the face of the globohomo occupation of ukraine when russia attacked. so he is now somehow a saint and gets all the credit instead of the actual hard fighting ukrainian people who are fighting so hard against russian occupation. (admittedly russian occupation looks to be even worse than globohomo occupation)

One can only hope that after ukraine kicks russia out, they also clean house and get themselves a true independent country.

He started as a celebrity with no political experience. We've certainly got other evidence that can be enough to engender popular support against the perception of corruption. Nothing I have seen makes me think he is anyone's puppet, or overly ambitious for power.
