Thing is its not going to end with Ukraine the inherit logic of these expansions is such that the baltics, and poland up to the vistula river are all targets. This war is at the end of the day about expanding to defensible boarders so they can keep russia safe with fewer people.
Important to note that this is the exact same conclusion NATO has come to - regardless of what the justification (real or purported) is, Russia definitely had no intentions of ending this with just Ukraine. And if they could invade Ukraine without any intervention against them on the strength of "if NATO resists us here, we end the world," there is absolutely nothing stopping them from doing it to Poland next.
That is precisely why NATO is spending all this money and sending all these weapons to Ukraine despite escalation risks and worries - because land war in Europe is an existential threat to the NATO alliance. They clearly believe this. What else could have reversed decades of apathy and appeasement so rapidly and quickly?
Look, I’m just saying we’ve had several years worth of the Globalist/ Liberal World Order calling anything and anyone they didn’t like ‘Russian disinformation’ or ‘Russian Agents’.
Something
very very important for you to realize - leftists lie like a rat shits. They will say
anything, at any time, to get their way. This is why Orwell spent so much time elaborating on the phenomena of "doublethink" in
1984; it's a very significant cornerstone of their ideology. But also understand that the doublethink is most essential for the "true believers," the self-brainwashing masses and foot soldiers. The demagogues, the leaders, they don't believe
anything they say - they're simply telling whatever lie is required to get their way. As Rousseau once penned, "the majority is entitled to force the minority to be free." Under the Collectivist social contract, the "majority" is
already right. No argument needed, no logic, no rationale; it's categorical. They're best conceptualized as religious zealots; since their God has already decreed their path to be the chosen way,
anything they do in service of it is justified. The means always justify the ends. This is why you see them using arguments like
this all the time; invoking people's own morals to criticize them when they themselves despise and deride said principles; and why Saul Alinsky's 4th "rules for radicals" states "make the enemy live up to its own book of rules." If you recall Ayn Rand's
Atlas Shrugged, this is precisely why she spent so much of that book harping on how leftists prance upon the moral high ground to guilt and badger others into doing their way - not because
they give a damn about it at all, but because they see it as nothing more than a weakness to be exploited.
In short, they are sociopaths.
Once you understand this, you will never again be misled by their lies, nor ponder how the same people who spent the entire Cold War
shamelessly shilling for every single miserable Communist mass-murderer they could find, the same people who were openly mocking Republican Presidential candidates in televised national debates for viewing Russia as the enemy, - the same President who would later refuse to sell Ukraine Javelin missiles before his party impeached the President who DID sell them those missiles for not selling them
more - can turn around on a dime and start screeching about The Great Russian Enemy.
This entire war is their fucking fault; aggression they invited by decades of pissweak responses to overt Russian violence. I often sparred with those limp-dicked "foreign policy analysts" on Twitter and the one silver lining on the eve of war was watching all those smug fucks who had insisted Russia Has Legitimate Security Interests and that We Can Deter And Negotiate eat a big steaming pile of crow, admitting they fucked up.
Facepalm... current russia are not fucking marxist
After USSR fell the commies either transformed into oligarchs
Bro, if you think that only happened
after the Soviet Union fell, you should talk to anyone who lived in the Soviet Union during those times. Even North Korea - the last Communist state that actually tries really hard to enforce an actual centrally controlled resource distribution model and has a police state so violent and exacting that it by far surpasses any other dictatorship on the face of this Earth - has
black markets. That's how integral market activity is to basic human social interaction. Why do you think the mafia took over Russia so quickly after the Soviet Union's collapse? Because they were already running large parts of it. Once the government collapsed under its own weight, they were effectively unopposed and
became the new government.
The best definition of a "Marxist-Leninist state" I have ever seen is this: "The definition of a Marxist-Leninist state is a state in which a Marxist-Leninist party has total power." That's it. Because, if you think about it, pure, raw, and utter totalitarianism is intrinsic to any kind of socialist economic model. Consider something as simple as
price controls. How can you implement even that fundamental bit of socialist policy and
enforce it on the entire economy without a vast surveillance and enforcer apparatus to prevent the economy from continuing as it always did just one step away with illegal barter in the side alleys near the supermarket?
Put your money where your mouth is and abolish mandatory conscription, giving young men a choice between "fight for your country and probably die pointlessly since even united, you don't have the numbers or firepower to actually win" and "stay home and just trade one pseudo-democracy ruled by a bunch of corrupt oligarchs for another".
Don't have a dog in this fight but I'll observe that a nation with 1. mandatory conscription and 2. a right to keep and bear arms for every law-abiding citizen would be 3. a nation in which oligarchical pseudo-democracies would be screwing over a populace that is both well armed and well trained in how to use said arms, to say nothing of them constituting a significant part of the armed forces' expected fighting strength.
Now, how many countries have that particular combination of traits? Hmm. I wonder why.
It's so much worse than this. EVERYONE warned them. Poland warned them. Baltics warned them. UK warned them.
Democrats warned them. Republicans
warned them since friggin Reagan administration.
Germany didn't just laugh off Trump's warnings. They have laughed off a huge list of western leaders who said the same thing consistently over decades.
This.
Also I will bet money you are not one of the german poor who was relying on this gas for heating their house this winter
Why is Germans suffering the consequences of decades of their own voting habits somehow everyone else's problem? Even if you allege that their democracy is largely a sham, isn't that
also their problem? Once upon a time, a bunch of Colonials didn't like their government, and they had no vote to cast about it, either. But they still
did something about it, didn't they?
You know... at the very start I wanted putin to win just because those lining up to defeat him are our oppressors.
But I am really coming around to this way of doing things too.
They are defeating putin... in a way that is really undermining their regimes at home. This actually gives me some hope that there is a possibility of an ideal scenario where both putin and the woke world order both get overthrown due to their populations being disgruntled at how they handled the whole thing
I don't know what news you're watching bro but I'm watching Russia get its ass ripped into confetti by obsolete Cold War era weapons stockpiles that were nearing their expiry date anyways (thus literally money already spent and value already lost) and a mere handful of modern state-of-the-art systems that will pay for themselves as a combination of security anxiety and the extended real-world, full-color commercial drives export sales through the roof, lowering unit costs for the purchasing nation(s) of origin.
See my earlier point regarding Germany's responsibility to unfuck their own government because nobody will, or is obligated, to do it for them.
Just saying.
Also did History Learner post his Learnerfesto yet? Did I miss it? Don't let me miss it. I'm looking forward to that.
