we have a ways to go before it being in everyone's home.

Also, It probably won't be gaming companies doing it. There will probably be a couple mega corps that rent out compute capacity to vendors, who then use that to build and host their stuff, then charge their customers a subscription fee to use it.

This is already happening in big ways, and spreading rapidly. Just not so much with games yet.

Big corps have wanted to have all computer use be dumb terminals connected to a mainframe for decades. I imagine they've always disliked the PC, for the same reason a bus company dislikes private automobiles.

A couple of days ago Israel hit Iran consulate to get a terrorist that was hiding them. Killing a senior Iranian general (I think)
Today Iran sent a bunch of drones to bomb israel as retaliation.
USA and UK are moving to intercept the drones while Israel is discussing how to retaliate against Iran (mostly, it depends on what damage the drones do when they hit).
Meanwhile Iran is supplying drones to Russia...

this could very well flash into an actual hot war by in the next few days, if not tomorrow...
or it could peter out. we will see

IIRC, the mutual hostility between Israel and Iran goes back to well before the West got into its current insanity of celebrating an alphabet soup of sexual depravity and craziness.

There is something to be said though, about people trying to hide their antisemitism behind criticism of Israel. The sort of people who quickly forget the evils done to the country and its people, in favor of pretending all their "aggressive" actions are committed in a vacuum.

Agreed. And same goes for antisemitic Pseudo-Christians that (attempt to) hide their antisemitism behind a narrow-minded crusade against semitic brown people living next door to the other semitic brown people because they delight in watching them kill each other.
Although I don't know which is worse, they're both pretty equally bad and repugnant.

Took me a moment to figure out what the heck you were talking about; and personally, I don't think we actually agree, considering you're trying to to use the obsolete version of the word "Semitic" to mean everyone who lives in the Middle East to try and obfuscate your blatantly obvious bias against Jews.
