Was that something the Justices were explicitly considering when overturning it? Not doubting they had private deliberations and thoughts they kept to themselves on this, but if they actually came out and said so in their opinion, well...

I don't recall vaccines being involved in the discussion at all. For one thing, it would have been irrelevant to the legal discussion, for another the vaccine mandates have not been addressed by the Supreme Court and thus cannot be used as a reference to this other issue.

Yeah, didn't think so. Only asked, because @Cherico claimed the double standard played a role in shaping SCOTUS's verdict, though... if there's another issue bound to rile up people on the losing side if they take it up, it's probably vaccine mandates.
You cant have things both ways, life is inherently a series of trade offs.
If its your body your choice then by defintion vacines must be allowed to the people as a choice. If you are forced to put things into your body then it isn't your body your choice. You cant have things both ways, but that's what the left has been trying to do for generations.
Heads I get what I want tails fuck you, and the real world does not work like that, sooner or later we all have to pay the price for our ideologies because life is a series of trade offs.

Obviously. Was just lamenting how right it was, as well as how lots of people are on track to find out the hard way that (contrary to the progressive, be-all-end-all narrative they’ve been taught in schools) history is not yet over.
