What are jolly Roger's? Some kind of non standard jumpship?

Jolly Roger is the standard colloquial term in BattleTech for armed JumpShips. While possessing only a miniscule fraction of the firepower of a proper WarShip, they are relatively successful as pirate vessels since regular JumpShips have no defense at all and so-called "assault DropShips" are rare (not to mention tiny and not nearly as powerful as our parasite concepts).
