Question does anyone know what year it currently is in-game?
Also @LordSunhawk Do we know any more about what the Kuritas are doing here of all places, instead of hugging it closer to the Inner Sphere proper or just going around the Outworlds Alliance? Because the fact they are in the Deep Periphery and their leader declared themselves the leader of the Combine tells me that either the Federated Commonwealth wasn't torn apart by the ambitions of a madwoman and managed to kill and/or absorb the Combine (depends if Victor got to marry his Kurita Waifu) or this branch of Kuritas lost in a power struggle/succesion struggle and decided to follow the long standing Inner Sphere tradition for the losers and fled with their remaining supporters to the Deep Periphery all the while declaring themselves as the rightful side which explains them deciding to stick to the Combine way. Especially since apparently they were here for some generations and still didn't get around to attacking the Feds without receiving any reinforcements, and i doubt the Dragon on Luthien would be so patient or tolerate the one on Okusawa essential seceding.

Well... there goes my speculation about Combine being defeated by the FedCom, so that leaves being on the losing end of a power/succession struggle
It was moreso the Dracs being clever and sending off a expeditionary force with orders to build up and then attack the FedSuns from the Outback and them needing a Kurita in charge of said force to keep it in the family

My summary of "Bakkustabbu" (the operation that brought Dracs out here): Link

Not much has really changed since then, so should still be pretty accurate to our level of knowledge. (Though, Max Liao is taking the throne this year, so that part of the linked post has changed)

I still hope to someday send a company to the Inner Sphere incognito since the Wolf Dragoons will also be coming soon. while also sending in a SLDF task force to report to the Cameron's about the success of our project as well as numerouis complaint's about trouble from a bunch of ex Drac's who are interfering with our project and setting things back. A nice wedding gift of tech to the good guy factions and nothing but bad news for one Bad guy faction sounds like a good plan.

The incognito company will be your basic Merc band that finds a SLDF cache of mechs and decides to go Merc in the inner sphere.

I still wonder where we get said Mechs because all of designs are very much not SLDF ones.

*shrugs* Everyone in the Inner Sphere suffered mental hiccups when the Lame Puppies showed up with a massive number of pristine lostech SLDF mechs.
Mind you we do have blueprints for a fair few Inner Sphere designs be they vehicle, mech, dropship, or ASF albeit most of them non royal variants and so making limited production runs of them would work. However due to the Dracs blowing the last of their jumpship yards we don't have any more Inner Sphere Jumpships other than ones we take

We have Monolith's, One of them should be okay, All we have to do is claim we found it by accident with all of the equipment on board still intact but the crews and passengers of the Jumpship and Dropships turned into goo by a tragic misjump that pasted them while leaving the equipment intact. Hell didn't one of the monoliths that jumped to escape during the battle have that happen to it?

And if the Houses want to buy it off of us we accept while using the money to buy some invader class jumpships to replace it.

I was moreso thinking as is. Not we what can make in the future which will probably include Monoliths.

By "Large" do you mean the jumpship max of 500,000 tons, or something at warship scales?

For larger jumpships under the usual limit, we're currently limited by research ("Advanced Standard Core Theory/Design/Construction II"). Each of those options takes 5 turns, and doing all three lets us build slightly bigger jumpships. I don't believe Sunhawk plans for us to be able to exceed the 500,000 ton limit though.

For warships, we're currently limited by not having either a warship yard and the "Basic Compact Core" version of the jumpship tech. We have one yard building towards becoming a warship yard, currently at level 16 of the required 20. Though, guessing homegrown designs are going to be limited to minimum size until we get more research there.

So given our current priorities, it's effectively just research limitations right now. Unless you mean super large jumpships, in which case it's probably systemic limitations instead.
