United States Biden administration policies and actions - megathread

Honestly the 'get in front of me' Biden-line is more funny than anything.
It just would've been treated as a legitimate threat if made during the previous administration, with a whole week-long news cycle about how dangerous journalists reporting from the White House Press Corps had it. Jim Acosta would've made a scene and written another book. There'd have been flashy graphics and headlines and all that, so the good-natured aww-shucks folksy humor of it kind of falls flat behind the hypocrisy of the media more than anything.

Good on Biden for making an actually kinda-funny crack...Regardless of whether he was driving (pretty sure I recall Secret Service not liking that as something that came up with prior presidents).

On a more serious note with its own helping of hypocrisy (this time administration rather than journalistic):

As oil shoots up in price, US steps further away from keeping the Eurozone off of Russian petrol-feeding. Which has all sorts of foreign policy stuff, most surface of which being it increasing Russian influence in Europe and benefitting them economically.
All whilst Keystone is held up, despite administration officials recognizing pipelines as the most environmentally-friendly method of shipping oil.

Only thing the story needs for maximum seasoning and meta-ironic humor is Hunter Biden being connected in an advising role somehow to the oil tycoons involved.

Still waiting on that $15 minimum wage, Universal Healthcare and Student Loan Forgiveness, Joe.

Good one, too bad it seems to have whooshed over people's head.

I didn't, but I love to troll his supporters with those. I actually voted for Huey Long in November lol.

EVERY MAN A KING

You sound like a man of culture. Anyways it is pretty funny those fools bought it hook line and sinker. It is also sad, and still infuriating as much as the expected can be found to be infuriating- the typical lying of politicians still does irk me, even though it has been old hat since long before our grandparent's grandparent's Grandparents were even a possibility.

So many salty libtards in the replies.

It's hilarious watching these morons get conned.
Sucks for the people who voted for him based on said promises, just like it sucked for the people who voted for Trump in 2016 based on the infrastructure bill he promised and never even pretended to make an effort to deliver. We'll just have to wait and see if this depresses Democratic turnout in 2022 and/or 2024.

So...one bad thing from Trump and how many broken promises from Biden?

The only reason the Biden stuff matters at all is just to point and laugh at the useful idiots realizing they've been duped. This isn't going to make those commies become more sane or anything, and playing "whatabout" with Trump is pointless. All we're doing is laughing at the "vote blue no matter who" crowd.
