All the banknotes in the world don't matter when the other man has more bullets.
England and France throw a coalition at him.

He threw 'em right back.

They tried the same against Andy Jackson 'round the same time. He humiliated them with an army of escaped mental patients, pirates and Indians.

Get fucked, you miserable coping retards. giogio2.png

Tell me more. What happened to them?
Well one of them made it illegal for anything other than credit union type banks to operate in the country, where the citizens had a stake in the banks and did this by seizing a bunch of assets and sending death squads against regional execs who tried to call on international aid. HSBC got cucked so hard by these people they've been backing leftwing politicians in Argentina ever since. Then he basically left the middle class and the economy alone and it resulted in even working class people owning a vacation home in a place like Pinamar or Mar Del Plata or some apartment and usually a third property they rented.

American working and middle class people made more money and had more consumer goods than than they did on average but due to them coming down on banks and other financial institutions like the wrath of god, more people owned more property relative to the population size at the time between the two nations.

Another one solved the migration crisis and a replacement theory dry run in the 1950's by passing an edict that said "If you wanted to immigrate here and weren't skilled labor or a trade bro or a lawyer or doctor you would be surgically gelded so you couldn't contaminate our national genepool with your mediocrity" and made welfare contingent on a loyalty oath and compulsory civil service.

That discouraged immigration for about two generations.

Mostly what they did that kept everyone happy? Was that they mercilessly slaughtered grifters, corrupt people, annoying activists and people society deemed to be degenerates and part of the "Parasitic upper class". The butchery was horrific but it was directed solely at the people who no one would shed a tear over...The secret police left everyone else alone.

An honest citizen could shit on the Government, criticize individual strong men and they took it in stride because they knew as long as you give the Grillbros some blood and let them grill they'll be quite happy to have a few civil liberties eroded if it meant they could live above their means without actually compromising the economy..then they'd happily sell their soul to fascism.

IIRC Chiang Kai Shek did something similar in Taiwan and Mobutu at least in his early years did so in Zaire and look how long they stuck around.

It's a very seductive way to replace one clique of tyrants and vultures with another, more pragmatic one.

And its worked disturbingly well across the Americas...

And if you think it won't work now in the US? With how angry and fearful people are? With how sick of the Woke bullshit they are?

The national guard ate probably just increasing the amount of people who can detain and make arrests during riots or emergencies when people don't listen.
Increasing the Thought Police, you mean?

They arnt Active and often have doffrent roles.
Just like the good old NKVD, am I right?

Round up those nasty little wrongthinking Nazis and then chuck them into Gulag #420 located in the middle of the Arizona desert, am I right?

The military knew what they were doing, ours at lest. The higher ups in government thought everything was fine even after the constant telling from the mikitary
I have one simple question for you.

If the Biden administration ordered you to open fire on American citizens in America during one of these "riots" (doesn't matter what side they are is on), would you do it?

There’s a reason they didn’t send the military against antifa. It’s called Posse Comitatus. The Pentagon were not going to comply with an illegal order. They had law enforcement on hand to deal with that.
Like those two female police officers in Chicago that beelined away from a shooting?

Police are afraid to go after real criminals because of the Chauvin trial. I bet the only thing they're capable of right now is opening fire on "proud American patriots".

In authoritarian regimes you deploy the military against civilians.
 :ROFLMAO:  :ROFLMAO:
Do you know anything about dictatorships?

It's the secret police that's sent after the dissidents, not the military.

Like the NKVD, Gestapo, FBI, etc.

In fact, the military often gets purged as well.

Like Uncle Joe and his Great Purge or Uncle Adolf and his Blomberg-Fritsch affair.

That’s not how you handle it in a democracy. The US military takes orders from the civilian leadership but they’re beholden first and foremost to the laws of the US and the Constitution. Or are we supposed to ignore lawful process now when it suits us?
It ain't lawful if the government ain't lawful in the first place.

A lot of you are wanting to blame this all on Biden; don't, that's exactly what the powers that be want, for this to become a partisan issue so that the interventionist streak of themselves is never effectively challenged. Both Republicans and Democrats bare responsibility for this and should be held to account, including the Orange Buffoon and his court that is currently trying to claim the Doha Deal was conditions based as the GOP scrubs their support for withdraw from their website. Bush II, Obama, Trump and Biden are all to blame and so are their backers/supporters.

Also, obligatory fuck Bill Kristol.
To some extent, perhaps, but Trump set the withdrawal date for May 1st. I doubt he'd have changed that; only question is whether he'd have ridden herd on the necessary personnel. But probably since I think he at least has the presence of mind to know that Saigon 2.0 would be a bad look for him.

Biden, meanwhile, decided to unilaterally alter the deal (despite being the weaker party) purely because he didn't want to do what Trump had planned, despite Trump's plan actually being good. That pissed the Taliban off, and between that and a failure at the operational/strategic level to not prepare for a rapid collapse despite the warning signs being there (though as a worst case scenario), it blew up in his face.

Remember, this is the same guy who provoked the border crisis simply because he didn't want to do what Trump did.

One wonders what the heck is going on in the Biden administration. We know he's not actually calling the shots; but this was such a boneheaded decision, I'm struggling to think of what purpose botching the withdrawal from Afghanistan serves. Maybe the establishment really is just that incompetent; wouldn't be the first time aspiring dictators shot themselves in the foot due to their own arrogance.
I think it's simply Biden being just that dumb, and Ron Klain and Co not having enough leverage to overrule him. Biden is still the president, so when he says he doesn't want to change his mind, nobody can do anything.

And yes, as far as the bureaucracy being that incompetent that's pretty much par for the course.

Globalists tried to organize against him, he had the big banks and massive international organizations against him.

How he defeated them will shock you!

Namely with his own private militia.View attachment 803
That's Rosas?

His mistake was convincing the only neighbour who could do something about him that he was a threat to their interests. Brazil tried to ally themselves with Rosas until... 1847 or 1848, IIRC. Rosas spurned Brazil, and the Brazilian factions allied to his enemies, like Urquiza, gained the upper hand. The Brazilians had one big advantage over the British and French who tried to defeat him - they were close enough to sustain a big push against him, which they did, beating both Rosas and his Uruguayan ally.

Incidentally, that affair would set the stage for the War of the Triple Alliance 12 years later.

Actually I do know how dictatorships work. In fact I would wager everyone here does.

So, I would like to know what your viewpoint is on how this current mess should be handled, in regards to the current mess with the Biden Admin, law enforcement and the increase in crime, etc. What would you do? I am asking for your honest viewpoints here.

There are a number of off-topic conversations going on, and some that are close-ish.

Talk about military Juntas are off topic. Start another thread about that. If you are talking about authoritarian things the current administration is doing, that's one thing. Long talks about what other ones did with no tieback to the Biden Administration are another. This includes talks about rigging elections, etc. Talk about that in the relevant thread.

Afghanistan stuff has all been moved to a thread on the
Afghanistan Evacuation/Withdrawal, including some stuff that was on topic here. In the future, this thread is only about what the Biden admin is doing on the Afghanistan Withdrawal, not general talk about it.

The same thing is happening for the vaccine talk.

It's just very hard not to get off tangent when the Biden Administration is literally fucking up everything they can lay their hands on. I mean, it's like an arms race of fucking up. The Biden Administration is basically the Soviet Union and we're fucking Belgium!

What was the rationale to putting him in office again? Restoring dignity to the office with a dementia ridden candidate with a son that snorts coke and fucks prostitutes?

America's back alright just after Saigon but worse.
