There aren't any troops on Taiwan. This all started because John Cornyn or an intern of his did a quick Google search and didn't bother to read the actual Wikipedia article talking about U.S. Taiwan Defense Command, which hasn't existed since 1979.

A vote against Trump was a vote for the institutions, the bureaucracy and the academic/professional class.
