That is quite the intentional misreading. The behavior being claimed is that they'll be aggressively relaying the intel they receive instead of hoarding it. Laying much more than the usual number of cards on the table, including assessments that they have only moderate confidence in but also including the fact that they're only moderately confident of them.
I mean, they have been doing this since before Russia invaded. One of the big ones was a lot of supporting details around the fact that Russia was going to invade. And I would definitely say correct is the term I would use for that prediction and those details as a whole.
I mean.

Nahhh - in WW2 in Falaise the allies said that they killed hundreds of german tanks, the final account (ground verified) says 15.
In Kosovo NATO thinks that they killed Servia Army (several times in fact), after the war ended, the Servian Army is mostly intact.
And I can get you a lot more examples - bottom line, air forces have no clue and oversell what they do. Any war, any country.

They don't specify what aircraft got hit, though, and Ukraine's airforce had more than 130 aircraft on inventory.

As I said, they are probably counting transport aircraft and trainers that they hit.
Also, maybe they hit a base that had 20 planes in it, but half were moved, then subsequently got shot down.

Nah, the Germans don't have that many tanks captured/destroyed in the Falaise Pocket. The problem is that the Chair Force call a tank anything that moves they fired upon and called a kill anything they fired upon too. Not improved until now, still overclaiming kills and effectiveness.
Looking forward to the "no, we let the Ukrainians blow up our flagship on purpose, because in letting them destroy it we tricked them into expending all thier anti-ship missiles so now they can't sink these civilian fish boats we stole and spray painted a Z onto" narrative.
