How wonderfully pathetic. Probably breaks some rule, too. At least most boards have a rule that says you can't ignore mods and admins, anyway.

It doesn't actually break any rules, to be clear. @Agent23 is changing just his experience on the site, and not seeing anything he shouldn't get access to (in fact, he's making it so he has less access). This is definitely allowed.

Understand though, he is still bound by rule 3 to obey the mods, so if Marduk makes a mod post, and Agent doesn't see it because of this and thus disobeys it, that's still breaks the rules just as much as if others do it having read the post.

Alright guys! Just a friendly reminder to stay on topic and not to continue pointless derails off subject, this is already a derail thread do we have too seriously made a derail thread for it?

So please try to stay relevant and on topic of the initial derail discussion.

Okay, a few things:

First, yes @Agent23, it's fine that you've blocked people, and fine that you've blocked people through scripting. But posting that you are laughing at them while you can't hear them is considered baiting. So from now on, stop attacking posters you have on ignore/are blocked in some other way (this applies to all places on the site, not just here. If someone is baiting you, please just report them).

Second, other people, stop provoking Agent and also all other sniping. It's bait, we have a rule against baiting, and it applies to everyone, everywhere.

For both of the above two statements, if you have a point and aren't insulting the other side, that's fine. But we've decided to stomp down on the snide comments, especially in this thread.

Third, there are people praising the deaths of people/wanting the deaths of soldiers. We've let this run long enough, because we were treating both sides equally, but it ends now. This applies on all Ukraine war threads (this part will be reposted on those).

@Bacle, you have repeated been leveling accusations of extremism against a poster by calling them a Tankie (i.e. a Stalinist, or at the very least, a person fine with using the military to forcefully impose authoritarian communism) and insinuating that the member is a pedo. These are clearly unfounded. Given that the repetitive nature of this, a month long ban has been given in this thread and a week in the Politics subforums for these actions.

Others in the thread, please do not reply to Bacle, as he cannot respond.

We keep getting reports about people tossing some pretty loaded terms around without proof to back up their assertions and aspersions.

This is reminder that Rule 2A is NOT limited to just the terms explicitly listed, and that such language runs afoul of that rule.

History Learner is not a topic of this thread. Neither are any other people. Posts not mentioning Ukraine, but instead just attacking other posters are derails, and you will be threadbanned for doing them from now on.

Other hits for past behavior may also be coming down, but this is just to stop further problems.
