Are you stupid? That's the only way I can imagine confusing my point that way.Are you talking here about Russian action to support the right of people of Donbass for self determination?
To respond to the point you're "cleverly" trying to make, democracy does not mean absolute self determination for every individual. That's so absurd I won't even argue the general case. The people who support subservience and acquiescence to Russia have a right to have their voice heard. It was, and they lost in free and fair elections. If they feel they can't live with or provide support to a government that goes against their wishes, they have a right to leave. That right was never impeded. Instead they decided they had a right to try and force their beliefs on others through force of arms and since their goals aligned with Russian interests, Russia supported them. Quite likely incited and stoked them. They believed they had a right to common property in the form of the land around them. They ignored or never even considered the wishes of others who lived on that land. They ignored the rules that governed that land.
The rules based interaction of nations and political bodies is the only major dam between peace and prosperity, and anarchy and death. If you don't like the rules, work to amend them. If you can't abide international order whatsoever, move to the shitholes where it's ignored and meaningless. If you try to use force to circumvent or unilaterally adjust those rules, it's only reasonable and practical that the many nations whose citizens overwhelmingly benefit from that rules based order will work to oppose you.
TL;DR - If russia wants to act like a shithead, the international community will treat them like a shithead. Pathetic pretexts be damned.
