Man I just want America to start pooling in the funding they gave Ukraine to America.

How can they tell us that there's no money for Trump's border wall and than give like 50 billion to Ukraine in just a year.

Even Trump's wall that would cost 18 billion over several years was considered impossibly expensive by the Libs despite having a stronger economy than post COVID.

It's bullshit 😮‍💨
Because it will stop democrat voters and the MIC and the Biden crime family can't make money on it.

Welcome to the warped world of tactical fiscal conservatives, just as awful as their tactical libertarian cousins.
A world where tens of billions for border security are completely unaffordable, a hundred billion or two for knocking some sense into an anti-western wannabe superpower is bankruptcy inducing, but over half a trillion for random climate bullshit merely warrants a weak sigh or grand celebration depending on where one stands on green grifting - long story short, how unaffordable something is depends solely on how much does one hate the cause in question, not the sum being spent nor the justification of what it is being spent on.

Technically, none of it is affordable, as we are in huge crushing debt.
But they are willing to borrow/print money we can't afford for some things, and not for others.

The US is spending money to destroy the Russian military and fuck over the European economy.

The resources thrown at Ukraine are minuscule in terms of US budgets or the US industrial base. And yet those resources are letting Ukraine eat through the Russian military at a rate that is both unsustainable (for Russia) and basically impossible to replace.

In purely military terms, the US has gained one of the greatest deals in recorded history. We throw a miniscule amount of money at someone else and let them spend their lives to destroy the closest thing that the US has to a strategic military competitor.

And then there is the economic impact. The war is fucking over raw materials exports to both Europe and China, hard. It's also being highly disruptive to global agriculture and oil supplies. The nation best positioned to gain from those disruptions is the US.

BASF is physically relocating its production infrastructure to the US. Airbus is the largest user of Aluminum and Titanium from the disrupted area. European fertilizer is sourced from the battlespace.

Economically? The US is making money from the war in Ukraine.

Yeah, except it is not working nowhere near as well as you think and some parts of Europe are starting to wake up.

You have poured hundreds of billions into Ukraine for what exaclty?

A few thousand war dead, some tanks getting blown up, and you think the Russians can't rebuild with the help of China and their other allies?

Pfft.

Russia's economy forecast to outperform U.S. within two years

Russian economy shrugs off sanctions; militia owner blames Kremlin for soldiers' deaths: Ukraine live updates

Putin's approval rating actually went up.

Your big play here was to try and cause regime change in Russia with this ware and these sanctions, you failed.

As to depleting the Russian military, well, I am still waiting for them to actually run out of shells and missiles, looks like the opposite is happening and the RAND corporation and Kissinger both see a prolonged war as detrimental to US interests.

Who will work for BASF?

Your army of *studies graduates?

No, not everything will move there, and it will not happen overnight, so I am pretty sure that China and India will get a nice slice of the pie since they have cheap energy and a large, well educated work force as well, and they are increasingly the main consumers of stuff like industrial chemicals.

And then we get to the treadmill that is shale extraction, which is slowing down, both because your oil and gas companies elect to buy back stock and return money to shareholders because of Brandon and the Democrats' retarded policies.

Meanwhile, you have damaged the entire western financial system's credibility with the SWIFT fiasco and the freeze and seizure of sovereign Russian central bank assets to the point where you got the Saudis to cut oil output and start pricing oil in RMB and other currencies.

Oh, and the sanctions and the fertilizer production supply chain problems, well, they are global!

Which means starvation in parts of the world.

And nothing focuses the mind better than an empty stomach.

Fuck the USA's deep state and fuck every single cheerleader for this war, they all deserve to rot in a GULAG.

And do you think that the damage to Europe and the rest of the world won't hit your companies and profit margins?

Seriously, the USA is run by fucking retards.

Wow... and their advice is just insulting:
practice extreme frugality and get a 2nd job.
fuck I am tired. been working 60 hour work weeks since November and the next job I am thinking of (trucking) looks to be more of that if for better pay. I am just fucking burnt. not looking forward to what comes next with the economy.

Trucking might get hit hard by a recession if consumption falls.

Personally, I am thinking of agriculture at some point, since in the west we have less and less farmers and agronomists and more people that want to eat food worldwide.

locally speaking it would be mostly agri stuff. with some dips into transporting construction materials. A friend of mine has been pulling between 60-72 hours a week as well. he has made far better money then me and the company has treated him better than mine did.

Agri is good, but construction will get hit hard IMO.

Agri carries its own problems.
1. EPA crawling up your ass
2. farmland is too expensive because gates and blackrock bought it all up
3. even if you succeed... you have been reduced into a medieval serf. a subsistence farmer forced to grow your own food to survive.

then I would have a good job most of the year and a vacation where I need to be frugal or pick up a part time job. either way i can manage.

government gonna government. I would be more concerned with the DoT but Buttigieg can't even run his trains right. or was it get them run on him? either way it is a shit show. learning to drive a big rig is a skill that may be useful. keeping on doing whaaat I was is a dead end that leads nowhere.

worst case I got chickens, Quail, and rabbits. a small garden to supplement things as well. don't need my job to do much more than pay taxes, heating, energy bills, and buy some staple foods and veggies.

Wanna know how much is being spent on Medicare and welfare things going on in the US that are making things worse for us?
You have to look at it this way. 13 dollars a month to remain top dog. Ir complain about 13 bucks a month when the government is taking even more for a lot less good things.

Your choice.
Because you either get destroying an adversary and allowing the Military to focus on the true rival or you get your money taken for some tranny to get surgery.
