6 charges were dismissed. This is separate from the DA dismissal. But the tossing of the charges here likely means that the charges in the Trump case aren't going to be tossed outright because of the conflict of interest, though it doesn't impact whether she'll just get kicked off the case.

I interpreted it as a deliberate knee cap to the movement to get all his shit dismissed honestly.

I wouldn't. This is a complete victory for the motion being issued, which was "This set of charges have a particular problem, and should be dismissed." They were. All it tells us is that there's no dismissal of all charges coming soon (like this week or next). That wasn't how Trump was going to win anyway though. Trump was going to win by getting the prosecutors dismissed from the case, then having it be stalled in perpetuity or handed to a Republican prosecutor who dismisses them.

Wade was disqualified, but Fani Willis was not, in a major victory for Fani Willis. I expect this to be appealed to the State Supreme Court.

Lol Kemp and Raffensperger won and they'll make sure the State Supreme Court cucks as well.

If Trump wins he better negotiate with no one and purge everyone if not we're gonna be left with only three very ugly options as a nation.

I don't know that SCoG will rule against Trump here. The judge found an appearance of impropriety, so hopefully the appeals court can use that to appeal successfully.

Kemp had his own nephew murdered to keep a Maga populist out of a senate seat.

Trump is losing until he wins the white house where he'll be quietly pardoned.

Unless the Georgia state legislature nuts up and starts impeaching fucking everyone. There is jack and shit that's gonna go his way in that commie state.

Given his nephew isn't even dead, I don't believe that's true. Honestly, googling, I can't even find if a nephew exists.

Kemp couldn't pardon Trump if he wanted to. Georgia pardons are only legally available after serving the entirety of the punishment.

Kemp doesn't have control over SCoG anymore. The Judges there are the ones in control now. And it goes to an appeals court first also. Both courts are stuffed with republicans.

Judge McAfee did this because he has someone running for his seat.

Why would he have is future son in law murdered?
He didn't. Look, there's reasons not to like Kemp. There's also reasons to like Kemp (he was better on Covid than Trump, for example, and that's where most of the animosity arose). I wouldn't put Kemp into the uniparty for that exact reason, though mayhaps I'm wrong.

So in good news for Trump, he got the immediate review for appeal in Georgia.

This means, to my mind, the Judge was playing politics as he wanted to get elected. He wrote the partial dismissal (of only Nathan Wade, not Fani Willis) in a legally bad way that the partial part really can't survive an appeal in a republican state. Crucially, he made a bunch of favorable findings of fact, which can't really be appealed easily. These findings of facts imply a total dismissal once the law is applied. But Scott McAfee basically applied the law wrong. And questions of law are easy to appeal.

Basically, Scott McAfee thought that Fani Willis should be dismissed, but didn't have the guts to do it.
