Trump Investigations Thread

My money is that the left will assassinate him.

And that will back fire hard.
maybe. they already launched a coup against him on jan 6th so nothings of the table att.
of course they'll try every other dirty trick they can think of first.

and we can't rule out an actual lone wolf attack, or how that would look exactly like a "lone wolf" conspiracy.

Trump has that same luck that protects children, idiots, fools, and the United States of America...
The last time I've seen a collapse this bad on trial was the Johnny Depp case.

Honestly, they'd be stupid to do it, but they're dumb and desperate enough to try it.
They, as a group, are smart enough not to do it. As individuals, they aren't. And people are individuals. 99.9% would never think to. But that's enough that there's a chance.

we have already seen the left attempt to assasinate supreme court justices this decade alone. We live in insane times.

A crazy left-winger taking a shot at Trump due to extreme TDS is by no means something we can rule out. I think @Cherico was thinking more in terms of "the establishment removing a threat from the board". This isn't exactly unprecedented, either. Consider the various sudden deaths surrounding the Clintons (although none of these were remotely major figures, like Trump is). More on the point: consider Epstein's "suicide". It's not unprecedented.

However... there's no logical reason to kill Trump now. Doing so would open a massive can of worms. Better to wait, while trying to get a "suitable" VP candidate locked in (like Haley). And even then, it's better to wait until after the election. If he loses (or "loses"), that's better than killing him. If he wins, perhaps one prong of the hydra-like lawfare campaign can still get rid of him. If the Dems gain the House, by the way, Trump will be so weakened that they won't need to get rid of him at all.

Only if all that fails... and if he's stupid enough to pick a VP who's less "dangerous" than he is... and if it looks like he's actually going to do what he said he'll do, this time around... will it be opportune for the establishment to actually kill him.

There are a thousand less controversial ways to deal with him, and at present, they seem to be trying most of them.

Any updates from yesterday?
The thing I posted was big. Also, the father effectively said he rehearsed testimony, so he's useless as a witness, and the judge noted that his credibility should be brought into question. Commentators said that they would have just struck all of his testimony, but this was also fine.

Now there's a few reasons the judge seems to be favoring the State (that's Fani Willis) with his statements. First, the favor is very light, and even people like Viva say that he seems to be even handed, so it could just be he believes the law is on their side with these things. Second, it could be favor towards Willis, especially because he has to work with her a lot as she's the local DA and him the local Judge. She can make his life a merry hell for years to come if this doesn't go her way, and we all know she will. Third, it could be because he's already at some point to rule against Willis, and after that he decided to try to limit her ways to appeal by siding with her on a lot of major stuff.

Closing arguments, along with a maybe re-examination of Bradley (depends on what happens in camera (AKA in a private hearing, which we can't see), are going to happen maybe Tuesday I think (haven't been able to confirm), given Monday appears to be some sorta holiday I think. Then the ruling will come at some point afterwards, IDK how long that will take.

Truckers are refusing to take loads to NYC after the bullshit ruling against Trump.

I think the judge and DA's who did this is going to learn logistics protests by blue collar workers can cost NYC far more than what they want to get out of Trump via fines.

Edit: Businesses also may start fleeing NY even more than they have before, due to this ruling and it's implications for everyone who operates in that jurisdiction.

Leftists: Workers of the World Unite!

Blue Coller Workers: Okay.

Leftists: NOT LIKE THAT!

Blue Coller Workers: Be careful what you wish for. :D

Truckers not bringing in supplies and goods for NYC? Businesses basically fleeing? Yeah, NYC is going to become a second Detroit. The city has so many empty offices and spaces already (seriously, go on YouTube and search: You have people wandering even the main streets/highways and all they encounter are closed businesses/empty shop areas).
