Trump Investigations Thread

Ah, so you agree with the bit about them distancing themselves from her, but not the egging her on part? I actually assumed you'd mean the other way round.

Well, "egged on" could be an exaggeration but listing her as part of the legal team, inviting her to speak at events and defending her when Tucker Carlson disagreed with her claims certainly seem to be showing support for her and team trump did all that and more before realising she was nuts and distancing themselves.

She was part of the legal team... before the whole "kraken" thing. She came out with that after separating IIRC.

Well, that's possible. I just used "kraken" because I forgot her first name. Point stands though, the way her whole involvement went can hardly encourage other lawyers to the trump band wagon.

There are a lot of reasons for lawyers to be wary of joining Team Trump, but "they will dissociate from you if they become convinced you are completely fucking bugnuts" is not a very important one in my opinion. Or do you mean the fact that they ever associated with her in the first place is a reason to stay away? If so, I'd have to hear more reasoning on that one, since associating with weirdos is a big part of criminal defense lawyering, I'd think.

No, the first meaning is right. Though, whilst your description is perfectly valid, it could also be seen as "If the insane and impossible things they ask you to do don't work out, they'll leave you hanging in the wind." Either way it's not a terribly important reason by itself, but it can be seen as another example the way team trump use and then discard people. Given that many legal professionals seem to consider this a very tough case for trump and co, lawyers have to be considering how the people who don't pull off the impossible for him are treated.

Barriers Spotted Outside Fulton County Georgia Courthouse as DA Fani Willis Prepares to Charge Trump

Fulton County prosecutors are preparing sprawling racketeering charges against Trump over his effort to challenge the 2020 election in Georgia.

According to a leak to The Guardian, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will likely indict Trump in the first two weeks of August.

Fani Willis based her investigation on President Trump's call with Georgia officials that was later doctored and leaked to the fake news outlet Washington Post. The WaPo published a completely fraudulent text of the call. These phony charges have already been debunked by The Gateway Pundit and others.

The infamous phone call between Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger was recorded by Raffensperger and his office. Raffensperger's team then leaked and lied about it to the far-left Washington Post.

Fani Willis is now considering racketeering charges against Trump because there is so-called 'evidence' that Trump's effort to challenge the election in Georgia did not originate in the state as a grassroots movement.

Orange barriers were set up on Thursday evening and have led to speculation that Trump may be indicted over his 2020 phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger over his concerns over the 2020 election.

Progressive DA Fani Willis previously asked Fulton County judges to not schedule any trials in the first two weeks of August which indicates that if there are any big indictments coming then it will be in the next few weeks.

Per Atlanta News First:

Security barriers were spotted going up Thursday outside the Fulton County courthouse, fueling more online speculation that former President Donald Trump will face legal challenges in connection to his alleged attempts to overturn Georgia's 2020 election.
Last year, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis opened a criminal investigation "into attempts to influence the administration of the 2020 Georgia General Election."
Months later, a special grand jury with subpoena power was seated in May 2022.

Trump on several occasions has called Willis' investigation into him a "witch hunt".

The Gateway Pundit reported earlier on Thursday evening, Special Counsel Jack Smith has brought three more charges against Trump in the classified documents case.

Someone there should print massive amounts of Hunter Biden hooker + crackpipe pics and plaster the barriers with them just in time for the show.

It'll point out the double standard. They're only doing this to interfere with Trump's election bid in 2024. They want the average person to think Trump is a criminal when in actuality, it's the current administration that are the criminals trying to use the power of the DOJ and the federal government to misdirect from their own criminality.

They have to prove the stuff was doctored.
Add in the fact that the state government has laws in place that can get her kicked out is a thing

Do you remember this from 2019?

The DOJ actually had guidelines saying "Don't indict a sitting President." Trump benefitted from the double standard while he was in office. Biden is benefitting from it now.

Well since that's broken when Biden becomes a former president he and his family will be fair game.

So are the Obama's, Clinton's and Bush's.

Which is why, baring a revolution or a second civil war, it will never happen. Both sides of the establishment are too invested and too snout-deep in the feeding trough to upset the balance of power.

Establishments do not last forever and they established the precident, it will be used against them in time that might be quite awhile but an upcoming generation of leadership is watching and is taking all of the fuckery into the old memory banks.
