Trump Investigations Thread

I’m very suspicious of DeSantis. I would still vote for him if he got the Republican nomination, but I’m supporting Trump for the GOP primary.

It’s not just about who is more likely to win. Republicans choose McCain and Romney because they could win, and not only were those assholes enemies of the GOP base and their interests, they even lost their elections to an extreme leftist.

At least for now, Trump is the head of a movement to fight not only against the left, but against a bipartisan establishment that is completely corrupt and evil. If DeSantis runs against Trump he effectively becomes an enemy of that movement and a tool of the establishment.
Out of all of the cases to indict Trump, I would've done the one from Georgia first.

It's just soo dumb and highlights the whole terrible thing that is the Grand Jury/District Attourney dynamic. If Trump is found in contrempt for some reason of the kangaroo court we somehow tollerate than he can be locked up without recourse until they let him go. It's a stain on justice that has been around longer than I've been alive.

Oh! The usual all people who dislikes Trump are automatically Neocons routine??

Look, a lot of people hate Trump and it's for a myriad of reasons, I myself don't think I will be voting for him again if he wind the nomination. The reasons being he flirted too much with authoritarian tendencies which is unforgivable in my eyes being strictly against that.

I don't remember many people claiming to vote for Biden so much as not at all.

How exactly is Trump authoritarian? I’m sure that there are a few things, generally when he capitulated the the elf’s demands, but compared to nearly anybody else who even has a shot at the Whitehouse - he is a paragon of freedom and liberty. Do you not think that there would be a very significant difference between another Trump term and another Biden term in regard to freedom?

Maybe they’re saving that one for later. Better to start weak and go strong than start strong and then get weaker. At least the accusation in the Georgia case sounds kinda bad, as opposed to trying to give him a life sentence for paying off a porn star trying to shake him down.

In both cases it’s insanely corrupt, but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he gets convicted. A blogger just got sentenced in New York for sharing a Hillary Clinton meme in 2016 about voting by text.

Bragg is the fall guy when this blows up in his face!

I find it hilarious that this desperate attempt has basically begun to open up cans of worms on the Democrats.

I'm no political expert, but I think this is backfiring just a tad on them. :ROFLMAO:

I don't think its hilarous. Because where its going and its not anywhere good.

I don't see this working out for anyone long term.
This was going to end up as a shitshow no matter who "won" -- but seeing this backfire on the Democrats is delicious.

They're desperate and stupid, and it's opening up multiple ways they can be picked apart at even the highest levels.

I'd say that's hilarious.

This opens up a whole can of worms that gives local DAs effectively nation wide reach.

For example the clinton foundation? Its located in little rock, Arkensaw which is deep red. Thats just off the top of my head, this whole thing was just a really bad idea, and will lead to back and forth escalation thats going to suck ass for everyone.

Nah. Trump's charges look like bullshit, but if this starts a new trend where politicians are actually punished for breaking the law, maybe its over all a good thing.

Its because the charges are flimsy that we have this can of worms.

Because, no political party can let something like that go and expect to continue to exist. The law of retaliation in politics is an iron clad one and once one side starts using a tactic sooner or later the other side folllows.
