"TradWives" Triggering Unhappy Feminists

The heck are you going on about? We're talking about masturbation here.
As pointed out, I was answering the greater question about promiscuity in general, but let's just limit it to masturbation for a moment. The idea that "prudish assholes" are responsible for the negative effects of masturbation is mind-bogglingly weird and says much more about you than them.

How do these "prudish assholes" know how often you masturbate? Are you doing it in public where they can see you? Are you going around telling these people about how you masturbate? Because unless prudish assholes have snuck into your house Mission: Impossible style to plant spying devices there's no other way they should have any idea, and so the problem has to be with you sharing your sexual habits with strangers.

While we're at it, I'd like to see you provide some documentation. Show us these prudish assholes and where they hounded and abused some person for masturbating. Note that the masturbator

As far as negative side-effects, I can provide an anecdote from my own high school observations: The horndog chronic masturbators were, according to the girls who slept with them, always piss-poor lovers. The reason, I suspect, is that masturbating is a process in which you concentrate entirely on your own pleasure and don't consider your (nonexistent) partner and so you develop bad habits as far as actually pleasing them and you will naturally trend towards being a selfish lover. Physical pleasure becomes decoupled with intimacy and affection in the chronic masturbator's mind and they habitually fail to consider the other person's pleasure, and thus when it comes time to actually be with somebody else, they fail at showing intimacy and affection and only look to their own enjoyment and not that of their partner.

So, are you now claiming all these promiscuous people who mock people for being virgins are the ones socially maligning people for posing nude or doing other sex work?

No, I'm saying that 'people talking smack about your sex life' is chump change compared to the harsh consequences of promiscuity that have nothing to do with how your local community views you at all.

I've already mentioned the epidemic of broken single-parent homes and their negative consequences.

Bear Ribs has mentioned STDs.

Neither of these require a negative view towards promiscuity by anyone in society to be a thing. Neither of them are made worse by some people shaming openly promiscuous people, especially given promiscuity is far more often openly celebrated.

How, exactly, are STDs existing, and people being more messed up when they grow up with only one parent in the house, the fault of 'prudes'?

He didn't deny promiscuous people are mocked. He said chaste people are mocked "far more".
EVERYONE gets mocked. welcome to being human, expect someone to mock you for something.

But social shunning against the chaste is drastically massively more significant.
The insult of choice today is not slut, it is "incel".

Oddly enough, even for completely unrelated things. How many times has someone online told you "touch grass incel"? How many times has someone online called you a "slut"?

Skimming through all this - I think what I often seem to end up thinking about these sort of political hot topics: a good many of you are simply talking past each other.

Some of this stuff can make people really, really angry.

Gee woman, you're spending half of your day with these men at work, and what, a quarter of your day with your husband?

Maybe that affects your perspective some?

Also, might it be a warning sign that they're trying to make a move on a married woman?

And, of course, it's about what she deserves, not about love, commitment, or any other virtue. Just what she wants for herself.

Yeah, people like that are assholes that I disagree with too (just break the news you're not interested and why and move on or ask for a casual relationship only), but the underlying motivation of not wanting a relationship with a woman on finding certain things out about her is something I completely understand and agree with, and vice-versa.

The one thing I disagree with in this video is that "women should be the guiding force to shutting down hook-up culture" -- most of the hook-up culture is driven by women leading foolish men around by their dicks; thankfully more and more men are pulling away from it and avoiding dating women on the whole because of women.

This girl? She's fine and down for hooking up with blokes, but I guarantee you for a serious relationship she's aiming for the top 5%.

Also, 136? 🤨

Paying for sex work is a transactional deal, not one related to a romantic or emotional relationship. That is the difference. And that sex worker is still going to have a negative reputation and stigma.

And I don't need to self-reflect -- I think you do because I truly believe the world is very different to what you think it is, but we're never going to agree on this. I just hope this naivety doesn't bite you in the arse one day.

Edit: also, the "misogyny" remark was aimed at wanting to change the biased laws and procedures in society, such as women absolutely financially raping men in divorces once they pull the parachute chord, or that paternity tests should be mandatory upon birth, or that custody hearings should never always favour the mother because she's the mother (no joke: judges have awarded custody to junkie, abusive whores just because they're the mother over the father who is a normal person by society's standards with a steady job, home, et cetera). This shit needs to change, but even attempting it? "MISOGYNY!"

I've seen a lot of those videos and while I don't disagree with the core points, this guy is basically just inviting really dumb whores on to his podcasts so he can humiliate them and offer little resistance to his talking points. I won't claim to have seen all his stuff, but why is it that I never see videos of him actually debating with women who have a brain? Very few people are going to be persuaded by talking down to bimbos.

The worst woman moment I have seen is probably:
> when I was a 15 year old I became an orphan.
> my husband dropped out of highschool to get a job and take care of me
> then he became a truck driver to pay for my college
> now I have a college degree and he is still just a truck driver highschool dropout.
> I am so much higher status then him. how do I dump him to find a better man

Except in your example, it's the prudes and assholes who are the ones doing the robbing, stabbing, and raping; so it's less a warning than a threat.
They don't understand that banning or campaigning for sex work (and yes, that includes porn) to remain criminalized, or even crack down on it harder, is absolutely trying to micromanage people's sex lives, and as a libertarian I am vehemently against this and will fight tooth and nail anyone who pushes this draconian authoritarian bullshit

Some are. Most of the people speaking out about it just want to put out the message that porn isn't completely harmless. The women and men involved in that industry are generally very psychologically damaged and prone to suicide. there are negative effects for the individual and society at large from over consumption of porn. there is a point to be made there. My view would be that they should be allowed to speak at least and present evidence. there is likely a happy medium between everyone has infinite easy and free access to porn regardless of their age and banning it all outright because it is haram.

That's an utterly dispicable lack of loyality and no society can reward that behavior for long with out suffering horrible conquences. Go back 60 years and the woman would be rightfully shunned by her family and community for saying such.

People are unironically in favor of the tradwife feminazis trying to ban porn and micromanage men's sex lives? Odd, I expected that from FiC, not here

If you are married to a "Trad" woman, and she catches you surfing porn, what do think she will do?
Take you by the hand, lead you to the bedroom and have sex with you, then and there.

Porn needs to be heavily shamed. Prostitution should be criminalized. Adultery should be criminalized and also an affirmative defense for justifiable homicide by the victim.
