I got married almost four months ago. My wife is already of solidly conservative Christian leaning, and explicitly trusts me for helping her understand political and cultural things deeper than she already does. She actually works with a bunch of leftists at a government-adjacent office, and sees them (accurately) as a mixture of sadly broken and hollow, with naive and ignorant. Sometimes the first thing when she gets home is unloading her frustrations with them to me, and asking for advice in how to try to talk sense into them if she gets a chance.
