Operation Lone Star doing it's job in securing our Southern Border:
I am 100% Pro-Life all the way & strongly support the bill which the TX State Legislature passed:
I find the abortion thing such a weird fucking hill to die on for american liberals. They let you abourt up to 6 weeks. That is a small window sure, but plenty of time. The sheer fucking meltdown you see makes it sound like it's a fucking burqa law or something.
I don't fucking get it. You have birth control, condoms, the day after pill AND 6 weeks to abort. How the fuck are you gonna miss ALL of those and get stuck with a kid? "Oh but what is rape?" 6 weeks. More than enough. It's insane.
Imma say, I actually approve of this, I know that won't be popular. Not because I'm in favor of abortion but I never liked that it was Roe vs. Wade, ie. legislation from the bench, rather than an Act passed by the actual legislative branch as it's supposed to be. Judges are not supposed to make laws and it always sticks in my craw when they do....okay.
The Dems have reacted in quite a severe manner to the heart beat bill.
As in, holy shit, this is monstrous and confirms every fear the anti-abortion crowd's ever had, levels of severe.
It's literal theology. Abortion has become mired in the overall Democratic cosmology and thus cannot be separated from all the racism, sexism, LGBT stuff even if it's not relevant. It's a package deal that lacks any sort of situational flexibility because it's become dogma. I hope Pelosi does make a big legislative football of abortion. It'll drag it into the light of mainstream discussions again and the old euphemism for killing babies don't work so well in the internet era. Let's make a thing of it and let the world judge the argument with fewer pretensions. They sound like strawmen. As in, they have become indistinguishable from joke progressives people use as punchline for jokes. Insane.
Roe vs. Wade was untouchable because it was a Supreme Court decision so nothing except a supreme court could actually do anything about it. Having it a law passed by the Feds means it can also be removed by the Feds whenever the Conservatives take power again, or (ideally) shot down by the Supreme Court as unconstitutional overreach in which case it's going to be extremely hard to ever bring a national abortion law back, essentially requiring control of all three branches at once which doesn't happen often.
The further developments in the Texas Abortion law are getting beyond the bounds of rational parody and humor. I'm seriously having trouble not breaking out laughing.
Somehow, against all odds, the Left has stumbled into recognizing the value of traditional marriage and abstinence outside of it. Who saw this coming?
The WOKE TX Dems are an embarrassment to the Lone Star State. They're so easily DAMN triggered LOL!Horseshoe theory in action.
Also very amusing who these people have exactly 0 interest in asking what the women in Texas think about it. Probably because they know that outside the 3 biggest cities most of them agree with it.
Yeah, even Texas still having some issue with petty tyrants hiding behind a badge.
Funny how fast the 'Thin Blue Line' has burned most of it's support from both ends of the political spectrum due to George Floyd and the Wu Flu bullshit.
Neither side has any illusion that most cops serve anyone but themselves and their paychecks, not the Constitution or people, anymore.
Yeah, and how many of them will put the Constitution above their own career or paycheck, when given unlawful mandates by governors or people exercising 'emergency powers' that contravine the US Constitution?I don't know what you are talking about.
Thin Blue line is strong as fuck for the cops that deserve it.
Cops that don't, are hated by both sides, while good cops are hated by one.
Most country Sheriff's are good
Plenty probably do.Yeah, and how many of them will put the Constitution above their own career or paycheck, when given unlawful mandates by governors or people exercising 'emergency powers' that contravine the US Constitution?
