No. Your relentless trust of all authority needs to stop. A badge doesn't make someone right. Protocols doesn't make someone right. On the balance of evidence, no cops were in the building. That's why the reports are unconfirmed: they aren't true. In fact, it was an off duty CBP agent who went in and saved people, by borrowing a barber's shotgun, not his service gun. The badges didn't do nothing, it actively prevented a solution.
What happened was parents kids died cause cops apparently didn't let the parents help.
Seriously, why do you think I have issues with republicans? They love cops way too much. All the thin blue line did was stop parents from saving their kids. Fuck that.
I also thinkt he whole department should be fired.
I am saying see what they train and then fight to have them trained differently.

From what I've been reading the "team" who initially went inside shortly after the shooting started were actually cops who had kids attending the school, and once they got their kids they left the building to let the shooter rampage for nearly an hour amongst the kids who were left behind.
Fuck off. If you aren't going to save the children, let the others save the children.
I don't CARE what the laws and regs say. If they say not to save children from shootings, or to stop parents from doing so then they're wrong.
These police fought the parents harder than they did the guy shooting children. This is evil and wrong. I don't give a fuck what their training, regulations, or the laws say. This guy was murdering forth graders, and the police used violent force to stop the parents from trying to save their children. There is NO excuse. This is far worse than just being cowards, and enters into full blown malicious evil territory.
They deserve the same punishment that the shooter would get because they are accomplices in the crime.

The Border Patrol duty had a wife teacher who texted him. He was off duty but got a shot gun and he managed to get to the school and he evacuated the wife and her entire classroom which also included his 8yo kid.
Seems like this could end up twisted into the version of events we heard through the grape vine.
Furthermore I believe this might end up killing the back the blue mentality. In 2020 despite all the support the right gave police they not only barely cared but openly kow towed to the people who hate cops. And now we see this.

yep, they proved they answer to the state, whether it's right or wrong.
They spent a summer beating up and arresting right wingers every time one of them got slightly uppity while letting the left burn down cities.
Fuck them. They proved they'll always do what they're told regardless of what's right. They'll listen to their bosses, and their bosses are corrupt.
The police who responded need to be charged as accessories to murder.. simple as that.

That's why I've said they need to be controlled. They aren't allies they are tools. Use them against those who are evil, because they only want to be tools and obey their masters. Then we should become their masters and stop anyone else from trying to become that.
IF the police want to act like mercenaries then they should be treated as such.

Seems the info has reached Abbot about the actual timeline and police actions, and he is getting mad.
Given it is a midterms year and the amount of public hatred going the way of the police already, I would not be surprised if we see the full weight of the State hammer fall on Uvadale PD.
