I'm reminded of something my oldest daughter ( a police officer) said to a rookie officer. "This job is not for us to be "safe" , it's to serve and protect. It's try to keep all of them safe. If you can't or won't do that maybe you should work at Starbucks." She said this in response to the new officer making ALOT of comments about safety. Please keep in mind that my daughter takes her duty VERY seriously.
