You are making a incorrect assumption here.

They aren't just coming from Latino areas. They are coming from all over the world because the door is wide open.

All they have to do is fly to Mexico, cross the border, call 911 and request border patrol pick them up, claim asylum, and get sent wherever they want with benefits far in excess of what Americans get.

They don't care about getting assimilated. They care about getting in and taking advantage.

And that's not even talking about the cartels and gang stuff. The drugs and human trafficking. Enemy nations slipping sleeper cells in all over the place.

The situation is not even remotely close to "They are Latinos that will assimilate and become conservatives."

Worse yet is that they're actually sending people who have legitimate reasons for seeking asylum (like people fleeing from communism) back to where they came from.

I’d agree except, perhaps, in the case of the Cubans. Poor fuckers are fleeing for their lives on rafts from a totalitarian hellhole and they are something of a neighbour to America. And those who settle don’t cause too much trouble anyway.

If Ireland or France had really gone down the toilet like that, I would welcome those running away into Britain.
