I have no problem with jewish people and don't believe this whole jewish conspiracy nonsense but leftists who happen to be jews love pointing out that they are jewish which ends up feuling anti-jewish sentiments cause confirmation bias.

Exactly, leftists don't give you a choice.

You're just hurting a bunch of people who don't want to be a part of their movement when you buy into that and repeat the stories they push about their people... Jewish people are not part of a conspiracy, they're not inherently liberal, they're not out to get traditional society--they in fact created a strongly rooted, nationalist society the very first moment that they had a chance.

This is actually a source of resentment towards Israel and jews from what I see on youtube. As youtube commentors put it, "Open borders for everyone else, but not for Israel" and they hate that and thus they say "Open Borders for Israel!!"

Its a vicious loop.

Left leaning people who just happen to be jews do shit not liked by people who then get told by others its cause said left leaning people are jewish and all jews are part of a conspiracy to undermine the west and have liberal values rule all which is not helped by other left leaning people who say they are jews doing even more left leaning stuff acting like they speak for all jews reinforcing the confirmation bias that jews are all liberal and out to subvert the west.

I think that’s a false equivalence. Screaming demagogues should be ignored, you’re describing a violent crime. Asking Jews to defend their people because some of them are leftists reeks of collective guilt, which is profoundly immoral. That’s the world of ethnic groups killing each other in mobs with machetes, not our civilised ideals.

Saying "they shouldn't have to stop it, because it shouldn't be happening in the first place!" doesn't make the problem go away.

Bingo. @Scottty , Sol basically answered your post for me, I know machete mobs exist in much of the world, but an American citizen does not fear them and should not have to pander to people dragging us down to that level.

The other countries, by the way, are Canada and Israel; these three, along with neighbouring nations maybe, would be the only countries in which people still discuss antisemitism because they are the only ones in which there is semitism period. Its the way of the world unfortunately. You have rising groups of people who hate jews cause they see them as part of a conspiracy to subvert their countries. You have people immigrating to Europe some of whom don't like Jews cause well they come from the middle east.

Something crazy alot of folks don't know. Is that there was a Jewish guy in the Confederates (traitorous scum) Congress. The US has always had a large Jewish population. Weve also always been left anti semtic than Europe.
