Very sad :(:

Oh, my, this can not be more lies and crisis actors, or a direct result of the Ukrainians garrisoning troops in hospitals, kindergartens, schools and other public buildings, now can it?!?!

Not sure it has been talked about on the thread already, but the Reddit Volunteers in Ukraine were officially given their baptism by fire and are calling it quits.

I know I should feel bad for them, but I am not sure what they expected going there?
Also, they should remember that they are not really covered by the geneva conventions...
They were expecting the same level of implicit support and supplies that a western power takes for granted. On call, 24/7 airstrikes on the individual level. Endless ammunition and food. Total air superiority to the point that neither artillery or IFVs survive being spotted. Being on the opposite end of the extreme force imbalance is a new and apparently unwelcome experience for them.

I mean you should never trust anything any side tells you in a war. Question everyone, especially the side you would default support.

I am more keen to trust the Russians due the simple factS they :

  1. Didn't lie straight to my face for the past 2 years about le coof
  2. They are censored, openly victimized on social media and have seen the Western export of democracy for 20 years
  3. They haven't affected my life negatively in the last 20 years
