I mean, to be fair, there probably is some kind of contingency plan for how they would do it if the political leadership went insane and called for it, or if the situation actually needed it. They have plans foreverything. But contingency planning hardly indicates intentions, even if such plans have leaked which I haven't seen.

I think that one refers to an earlier posted here tweet with someone trolling and posting the western equipment based division formation page and claiming it's western troops being prepared for deployment.

The fact that those rifles are Chinese knockoff M-16, M-4 rifles chambered in 5.45X39mm and are fully capable of operating in full auto notwithstanding. They send the parts to several Russian companies who then send them on to a central assembly.

I know why you'd keep that quite as a bargaining chip to pressure China. But I can't help but feel you Americans are waffling on China.
