Spanish Inquisition a) was nowhere as brutal as memed (even if it was extraordinarily brutal by Catholic Inquisition standards, actual temporal / secular government was far more brutal still), and b) was bloody well justified in its actions, considering how many Muslims fake-converted during the Reconquista and then continued to sabotage the kingdom.

I’m not making a judgment for the Jews dhimitude was a better alternative than living under Christian rulers. But that doesn’t mean that Christians were being unreasonable with inquisitions. The Muslims were a threat and Jews were sympathetic to them it’s just the real politic of that time.

Well, lets see where this goes. I'm not really surprised by the move.

Lol. Seeing as the oil and gas money didn't go to Russia but to Putin and his clique it won't change much. Russia's income dropped by 70% due to the sanctions. The threat will be from the USA and NATO dropping support and letting Russia win in the coming elections. If that happens it'll turn into WW3 because Putin and his puppets have been stoking the Soviet era pensioners with Straight to Paris and London Soviet propaganda.

Unfortunately the biggest block of support are Soviet pensioners, and they are unwavering in their support.
