Unlike the USA and Canada where they have built the infrastructure to be able to shut down the pipes and or store several hundred million gallons in the strategic reserve. Russia cannot do that. The permafrost will freeze the pipes if the oil and hot water ever stop flowing. The last time Russia stopped pumping was when the Soviets collapsed. It took the Russians 28 years to rebuild their pipelines and extraction rigs. With Nordstream gone the damage is already spreading. Industrial accidents are getting worse, and happening more often in Russia. So much so its visible from space. If you're anal enough you can look through Google and satellite mapping sites and see some of those accidents in the pictures. The various US and Nato public reports have some good dataWe all know 'Russian maintiance' is almost an oxymoron, so why must hostile action have blown the pipes?
