Nord Stream 1 and 2 Attacked

We all know 'Russian maintiance' is almost an oxymoron, so why must hostile action have blown the pipes?
Unlike the USA and Canada where they have built the infrastructure to be able to shut down the pipes and or store several hundred million gallons in the strategic reserve. Russia cannot do that. The permafrost will freeze the pipes if the oil and hot water ever stop flowing. The last time Russia stopped pumping was when the Soviets collapsed. It took the Russians 28 years to rebuild their pipelines and extraction rigs. With Nordstream gone the damage is already spreading. Industrial accidents are getting worse, and happening more often in Russia. So much so its visible from space. If you're anal enough you can look through Google and satellite mapping sites and see some of those accidents in the pictures. The various US and Nato public reports have some good data

I learned that from watching Peter Zehan. Dry informative I recommend him.

the pipe comes from russia, but the pipe itself was owned by germany

also, biden literally promised to do it. and then he did
Nord Stream 2 AG, which is registered in Switzerland and owned by Russian state-owned gas giant Gazprom , last year completed the $11 billion project which was designed to double the capacity to pump gas from Russia to Germany.
The shareholders of Nord Stream AG are:[2][3]

Why do you say shit you don't know that is 10 second search away from you?
Both Nordstreams are majority owned by Russian state.

No they did not in fact say that.
"We found out some stuff, but we're going to get in a lot of trouble if we share it around, figure it out yourselves"
Hmmm.

Maybe it's because it was Greta Thunberg and her Mostly Non-Violent Friends who wrecked the pipeline to Save The Climate and the Swedes do not wish to implicate her?

In order:
The diplomatic win if Russia did it hoping to harm America would be incredibly minor unless they did a better frame job. The cost in income to russia, however, is not minor. The diplomatic cost of Russia not being able to subvert the EU countries economically is major.

Yes, every nation supporting Ukraine has a similar motive, but few have the capabilities (basically people involved in the Baltic exercise and those with access to the Baltic). Every such nation's military is basically a Washington Puppet when thinking about attacking Russia though.

I said the Germans had a motive.

Overall, this info is what shifted me from "American ally did this with American approval" to "America did this with Norway's help".
Except that's not Russia' income. That's Putin's faction of the government's slush fund. The Duma has no power at all. They exist to rubber stamp anything Putin wants. Much like Stalin and the Kim family the income doesn't belong to the state. Officially it does, but in practice the Dictator controls the funds and he dispenses it to his benefit.

So old news that got a new update, and I figured I'd take a small victory lap along with everyone here who had the common sense to know it wasn't Russia: America blew up the Nordstream Pipeline (apparently with Norway's help).

There was only one source, but then, it'd be hard to get corroboration for this.

Can't speak to all of the elaborate details or fanfiction disclosed but what stood out to me...

Seymour Hersh said:
The waters of the Baltic Sea were heavily patrolled by the Russian navy, and there were no oil rigs that could be used as cover for a diving operation. Would the divers have to go to Estonia, right across the border from Russia’s natural gas loading docks, to train for the mission? “It would be a goat fuck,” the Agency was told.

Is the CIA unaware the pipeline passes beyond Estonia and Russia in the narrow ass Gulf of Finland?

But that's a minor ish

Seymour Hersh said:
Today, the supreme commander of NATO is Jens Stoltenberg, a committed anti-communist, who served as Norway’s prime minister for eight years before moving to his high NATO post, with American backing, in 2014. He was a hardliner on all things Putin and Russia who had cooperated with the American intelligence community since the Vietnam War. He has been trusted completely since. “He is the glove that fits the American hand,” the source said.

Lol the source said America has been fisting Jens Stoltenberg since the Vietnam War. Lol... Wait a minute... Is he that old?

Jens Stoltenberg was only born in 1959. Vietnam War ended for America in 1973 or 1975. He would've been 14-16 years old then.

Secret personal slush funds? 🤔

So, I guess this isn't a huge surprise.

The articles specifically say that these were likely a mix of independent Russian and Ukrainian nationals, not acting under direction from Kyiv or Zelensky, and more acting in opposition to Putin and in sympathy to Ukraine.

Wetwork gonna wetwork, and this is a very wet job; sabotaging Russian shit has been going on, on land, for a while. Maybe next time they can hijack a Russian Kilo-class or sink one for the next wetwork job.

I mean, I'd prefer less environmentally iffy ways to fuck with Russia, but sabotage in wartime rarely get's that luxury.

Riiiight, just couple of random guys got together and blew up the pipeline, no state involvement whatsoever. :ROFLMAO:

Any bets how long it will take before we get version that acknowledges ''some'' state involvement? 6 months?
And how long before American officials openly admit about blowing it up, instead of just bragging obliquely? Another year or so?

A rando Russian teenager filmed himself sneaking into the airbase in Kaliningrad and planting a bomb on two SU-30. Next cut was from the chest high grass surrounding the airstrip a few hundred meters away. The boy detonated it. It was all over Telegram in November. There have since been hundreds of anti-Putin attacks all over Russia. It has escalated since Mobilization ramped up. Especially in the oblasts outside Muscovy proper where all the Russian, but not Russian enough groups live. Worse in the ethnically non-Russian republics.
