I don't think it's implying moral equivalence; only that the blank look in Grogu's eyes was probably what Epstein thought in his last moments.

If anything, Epstein's probably more comparable to Moff Gideon in terms of nefarious super-villainy, if not in terms of how he went about it. Obviously, Imperial warlord with delusions of grandeur is a different kind of evil from a wealthy, politically connected sex trafficker (even though both are screwed up to the max).

For one, I never defended either of them and wholeheartedly agreed that both are reprehensible. So, really, telling me “FTFY!” is pretty uncalled for. And if cursing me out wasn’t your intention, you could still stand to have a lot more tact in how you phrase things.

Ah; seems I really overreacted to that, for which I also apologize. Guess the confusion stemmed from me reading "FTFY!" as "Fuck that, fuck you!" (which I now see was a hasty mistake).

Other than that, fully agreed on Epstein having his own delusions of grandeur for sure. Kinda' karmic how he got put down instead of dying comfortably and having got off largely scot-free the same way the shadowy Globalists who offed him probably will, though for the rest of us, that leaves only mystery and further distrust.

While I agree with the assertion that wokeism is a religion, I'm not so sure about the rest, insofar as it wasn't naturally occurring. The Great Awokening only went from a bunch of losers on the internet with no societal power to the force it became after Occupy Wall Street targeted the actual ruling class and the oligarchs realized paying for a propaganda megaphone for their Useful Idiots would cost them less than economic populism.

At any rate, before we try theocracy, how about just trust-busting blackrock so they can't keep paying for the economic failures of DEI propaganda media and crippling copyright law to prevent the current status quo of monopolies keeping franchises in the hands of propagandists and seeing if that takes care of the problem?

Those two proposals both look like good ideas to me, but what's the plan for getting into a position of power in order to be able to enact them?

The problem with the idea that we should treat this as a 'religious war', is that pretty much no one outside the Evangelical Right views it as such.

In fact couching it in said terms is completely counter-productive, and only makes a lot of people roll their eyes at the 'Bible-thumping nutters' who frame it as such.
