Unfortunately, many people who see the problems with modern megacorps then just turn to the mirage of some "third way economics" -- never once realising that this just strings them along in the same web of materialism (and the false solutions and utopias that it promises).

Yeah, materialism is the real problem. Marxism etc. are merely a byproduct of the decline of spirituality.
