Zyobot

Just a time-traveling robot stranded on Earth.

I feel like this one's been posted before? Could've been in a different thread, but I swear someone posted it a while pack.

Anyway, I'd say that's Russia: 3 and Russia's invaders: 0, but considering how the third attempt could come down to a nuclear exchange... I don't think anyone "wins" there, Russia included. :cautious:

People overcredit the OWS movement. All the seeds for Wokism were already well sowed and deeply rooted when OWS happened. Identity Politics were involved in American politics all through the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I mean OWS self destructed in large part DUE to its own Wokism with things like speaking preferences based on the race, sex, and gender orientation of people.

While the late 90s were arguably a bit of a gold age, the 90s themselves saw serious racial tensions between the OJ Trial and the Rodney King Riots, which were the BLM of the day. You had Black Identity movement like the Million Man March, which held many of the same ideas as the later BLM movement and was just as lionized as the media (though, to give credit to the MMM, it was actually and truly peaceful) and it was the high water mark of the influence of the Nation of Islam (which lost considerable influence after 9/11 for... some obvious reasons).

Blaming the elites for identity politics is just Tankie cope and denial of the actual intellectual history of those movements... which do in fact trace back to Marxism and the Frankfurt School. It's cope because identity politics have caught on more than classic marxism in the US, but that was always going to be the case, because marxist class consciousness is an inherently flawed concept.
