Tell me more about how YouTube Premium is worthwhile. Legit, would love to here it.

(I live in Belize, streaming on shitty cell phone internet is basically all I have)

Why is it so worthwhile to you?

I stream it on my TV or phone and ad blockers are unreliable or unavailable.

I watch YouTube on my smart tv for several hours a day. It'a my primary form of entertainment. Having no commercial interruptions is SO worth it.

For my phone I use the Brave browser, which has the same built-in ad blocker across platforms. While for my TV, I built a NAS server that I stream downloaded videos off of; mostly anime and really old movies.

I use brave as my primary phone browser but I like the YouTube app separate from it.

Usually my phone app is just getting used to control the TV app though lol

I had to make a meme about this.

Witness me... this was almost ten minutes of work!

...what alternate timeline do you live in? Christians actively bombed abortion clinics in the 90s, banned abortion everywhere they could, also call for bans on homosexuality and all those other things, and are constantly baying for blood whenever evolution is being taught in any district they have power over.

Let's be very clear here. Some supposedly religious people committed sin and harmed others. In no way does that make all Christians bad...though that's what you're trying to do here, paint Christians as evil hypocrites.

Most Christians spoke out against that behavior just as they speak out against abortion.

All that picture states is pretty much EVERY argument had by any Christian vs an anti-religion partisan.

Yeah...yeah...I know...

Oh please. If it was an organization or group you disliked that trotted out that same excuse, would you listen to it? Like Muslims, or socialists, or even those BLM types?

Christians were and are actively calling for laws that coerce behavior, and they always did. This country was literally first settled by Christians that couldn't live at peace with other Christians because one or both of the groups tried to coerce the other. This in no way justifies anti-Christian propanda, but it doesn't justify pro-Christian propaganda like the above either.

Don't piss on my boots and tell me its raining.

OK, I'll engage for a bit.

Have you seen me, at any point, attribute to a group, a crime committed by an individual? Go for it. Find it. Show it to me.

That's what laws are. They coerce behavior. If you think this is the fault of Christians...well, you're more deluded than I thought.

So what. That's why most people abandon where they are to move somewhere no one else really is. They want something better than they currently have it.

Mostly, I'm trying to understand how anything from this is relevant to the meme that initiated your comment and our current discussion. I'll copy the meme so I'm extremely clear:

Except there are plenty of examples of religious people wanting to legislate their religious beliefs into law. For example, all the complaints when blue laws were done away with. The big push to define marriage as heterosexual only in law prior to the Supreme Court finding that that was discriminatory. The current push to ban porn. This is just off the top of my head right his moment. So basically this "meme" is a strawman. Also it really fails at being a meme because it's just a block of text. Not far off from a Leftist meme, really.

Imagine that...people want to have their opinions/beliefs made law. Every side does this, has done this, and will do this til the end of time. It's how we get laws made, enough of the population gets vocal enough and active enough to push politicians in a direction.
For example, all the complaints when blue laws were done away with. The big push to define marriage as heterosexual only in law prior to the Supreme Court finding that that was discriminatory.
It's about the same time that the US Government began making solid efforts to destroy the nuclear family so that government can step into the role. Frankly, these are steps that we can and should take a look at bringing back.
The current push to ban porn.
Frankly, that's OK by me as well. Ban it for everyone under 18. <Thumbs up>
So basically this "meme" is a strawman.
Except I, and many others, have encountered the EXACT chain of events when dealing with Lefties. You're strawman argument is inappropriate here. Sooo...yup. It's a meme.

The funny part is how Atheists like to complain about this, and basically claim only they get to instantiate their beliefs into law.

"Because we reject your entire worldview, it is morally right when we try to impose laws based on our beliefs, and morally wrong when you try to impose laws based on our beliefs."

It's literally the same as any other ideological group, but unlike Christianity, things like grace, forgiveness, and tolerance are not virtues taught by atheism.

Which is a big part of why all the greatest horrors of the 20th century have been committed by atheist regimes. They're certainly not the only ones doing nasty things, but they have a particular penchant for doing it on an unmatched scale, and claiming that they're the good guys for butchering millions of people and enslaving tens or hundreds of millions more.
