It's sad that literally the only thing keeping Yugoslavia together was fear of Tito's secret police. Those idiots can literally only keep themselves from killing each other out of fear of torture and death.
Wasn't just that. Tito did an oustanding job playing the separate groups off one another in such a way they each saw Tito's state as an ally to some degree. Once he went away, the knives came out to play.
It didn't help that the Serbians were dicks to pretty much everyone else.

The original John Carpenter movie They Live was pretty left wing and so is John Carpenter, but that's besides the point of it being an awesome film. Something with that similar concept would be almost a perfect vehicle to explore the world of today. Back then it was just the sunglasses (and later contacts) that you could use to see the disgusting alien degenerates living amongst us and infesting and weakening society.
But with all of the memes of things like Doublethink and NPC's and "THE MESSAGE" etc and conspiracy facts coming out with Covid, the WEF and the incestuous nature of big corporations, media and entertainment (Cathedral, the Regime, whatever other dumbass name people have come up with) there's a lot of fertile ground for a reinvention or reimagination of that sort of film concept and layout.

The Amazons are just a huge disappointment from a tech and culture PoV.

Think about how many inventions and how much science has been done by men. How many of the hard but nessary jobs are done by men, and how much effort Men place into doing work just to have a chance to have a wife and family. Now place all of that effort over a 5,000 year history.
Ok now remove then men from the equation entirely.
