I wasn't saying you believed or bought into all those potential positions, I was just using those as examples of the arguments/ideas the Left used that were often founded on the idea of Nature being "good".
I'd noted long ago you'd started moving away from axiomatically believing the entire "nature = good" thing when you write about environmental issues, as rather than adopting that framework you've adopted a much more pragmatic framework to argue for environmental responsibility, as well as being fully willing to acknowledge that the modern Green movement is full of anti-nuclear and anti-human idiots. But because it's a deeply laid axiom I figured you might be subconsciously seeing @Rocinante's explanation of bullying with that in the back of your mind.
I've never regretted not taking it but I sure do know people who regret taking it.
