I do think that the interracial sex/marriage -> sodomy -> same-sex marriage -> child sex dolls/robots slippery slope is indeed real since all of these things were viewed as being immoral and possibly disgusting by society at one point in time even though they were all harmless. If it's unacceptable to criminalize things simply because they are immoral and/or disgusting, and especially so when they pertain to someone's sexual orientation, then there should likewise be a presumption that child sex dolls/robots should be legal. This presumption can be overridden if bans on these things can satisfy strict scrutiny (narrowly tailored to achieve a compelling state interest), but not otherwise.
