So fucking over the top. So self righteous. So amazingly stupid. "They are rigging the system by putting their people in charge and changing the rules!" Lol look at yourself, don't blind yourself on that projection moron.

They make a fuckign Hitler out of Gosar for demanding the tapes be released. This clown, with no hint of shame, parrots the line that "they can't release it due to national security" and expects people to believe it. Oh and they do some more crying about the Attack on Titan parody while at it.

It's no wonder these people think we are all Waffen SS, when these are their reporters.

I remember how during the Bush years they declared that dissent is citizen right and duty, but the moment Obama was elected it turned into ''how dare you disagree with our anointed messiah, you evil racist nazi!!!!!''

This happened to a lesser extend when Clinton took office.

Liberal Leaning Newspaper The New Republic has produced an article with a POWERFUL headline and a PROVOCATIVE question.

Now the writer, Jason Linkins is actually referencing a column written by Dana Milibanks of the Washington Post who literally argues that the media should be partisan on behalf of Joe Biden in order to protect the "fragile" institutions of democracy.

The New Republic said:
there is reason to be gravely concerned. But against this backdrop, an interesting debate has broken out about the press’s role in protecting our too-fragile institutions and raveled civic fabric from a Trumpian assault—and whether the media, in an effort to support democracy, must unflinchingly support Biden, as well.

Over the weekend, The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank made considerable waves with a column that rather lustily accused the media of offering President Biden worse coverage than President Trump. At first blush, this might seem impossible, if only because Trump’s actions—through corruption, incompetence, and the need to constantly battle the media—made it almost impossible to cover him favorably. Milbank, however, marshaled some statistics from data analytics experts, who combed through hundreds of thousands of articles to provide a detailed “sentiment analysis” supporting his thesis that “Biden’s press for the past four months has been as bad as—and for a time worse than—the coverage Trump received for the same four months of 2020.”

But Milbank’s most provocative idea posited that the media needed to be “partisan” in the service of democracy. “The country is in an existential struggle between self-governance and an authoritarian alternative. And we in the news media, collectively, have given equal, if not slightly more favorable, treatment to the authoritarians.”

Not everyone on Twitter seemed to love the idea, including fellow establishment journalists such as CNN and Politico's Ryan Lizza.

Most journalists however are extremely supportive of Dana Milbanks assertion including CNN's Brian Stelter, NYU Journalism Professor Jay Rosen and everyones favorite Lincoln Project lipstick archive, Jennifer Rubin.

there is a difference between being a journalist and a propagandist and they have crossed this line.

What they're actually talking about is stopping democracy, because democracy might elect someone they don't like.

If they cover Joe Biden accurately, it might make people support the wrong candidate.

Democracy is their enemy here. They seek to end it by manipulating the public.

The public voting for someone the elite doesn't like is democracy in acton. It's why democracy exists.

Unfortunately, they appear to be fairly close to that goal. They control politics, education, the media, and a decent chunk of the population in general. I may not like the movie it comes from, but the quote "So this is how liberty dies… with thunderous applause" feels rather apt.

Not a good analogy at all.

Biden and Co. are nowhere near as popular as Palps. Matter of fact, they're playing music on the Titanic. Now, when it goes down, WE have to make sure that we put as many nails in the coffin of the Left's plans as we possibly can, and then never let off of them. We need to defeat them at every possible turn, in every possible way imaginable.

Dude, when I saw footage of people cheering in the streets when Biden "won" the election, that movie quote is exactly what came to mind.

Sure, supporters always do that when their guy wins. What made me not agree with your sentiment was the number of people who weren't celebrating.

Actually, I'm inclined to think Biden's Presidency has been a blessing in disguise. It's allowed us to get a real close look at who and what our opposition truly is. It's allowed us to engage clear targets with massed 'force', and it's something the Left really hasn't been able to deal with except to throw tantrums or try and bring the Fed to bear. (FBI used against concerned parents for example.)

It looks bleak, but we now have clear drawn, and it's making it much easier to bring people along with us who wouldn't normally be willing to engage.

Biden is irrelevant. Whoever wins will still have to bend the knee on CRT, mass immigration and LGBT stuff.
