Immigration and multiculturalism news

I find Ireland’s constant sabre rattling over Ulster (when they don’t even possess an army) to be irritating. Their victim complex even more so.

Still, mass migration will not do their society any good at all.

Nothing ironic about it, most of your supposed rivalry seems to be just performative. It's natural for two very similar people to share the same views.

Of course, it's also worth noting that the Irish middle class don't have the same docile attitude towards authority that most of Europe does. And it's the middle class that's most important in these culture war issues.
obvious troll is, yet again, obvious

Oh no, there's still a lot of hatred there on both sides for each side. There's nothing performative about it.

I mean, I personally don't have anything against the Irish except cultural ribbing [every country of the UK and Ireland does this to one another], but there are still people with genuine hatred for the Irish and vice-versa.
England occupied parts of Ireland from 1175,and entire island from Cromwell times.I undarstandt irish.

Why would they not have anger issues towards the English? The English did invade them, genocide them, and steal their land by importing colonists to settle in northern Ireland and oppress them and their native faith and give preferential treatment to Protestants.

It's perfectly reasonable for them to hate your people for what you did. Just like you hate the Arabs that come to your nation and what they will do in the future. If in the future England breaks apart and the Arab immigrants get the stronger and richer parts and your vestigial nation is weaker will you be friendly with them even if they became peaceful and did not fuck with you for the past 20 years?

The 'ruling party' in Poland is not much of a ruling party, but a really fractured coalition under Tusk. While an asshole, chronic liar and a volksdeutsch, he seems like an at least a competent enough politician to not go against codifying a law that pretty much all of the country is calling for.

And then there were the Troubles in which innocent people were tortured and murdered by the Irish. sigh

There's still a lot of bad blood on both sides.

Incidentally, I always find it funny when I see people say "well, why not just give Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland? That'd just solve all the problems right, and the UK would let go of its last Colonial possession" and other such comments; that tells me they're just as dumb as those pro-Palestine protestors in other Western countries that know nothing of the actual situation.

The Northern Irish, the people who live there, don't want to be part of the Republic of Ireland. :ROFLMAO:

And now France again...

I'll repeat what I've said before: These people do not integrate, they segregate. They're not compatible with Western values, culture, and lifestyles.

Gypsies don't call them Romani keep your libshit political correct terms out of here.
It's like all the "Deutsch" when discussing Germany, "Gypsy" is an exonym from the archaic misconception they migrated out of Egypt while "Romani" is the endonym used by them for themselves. It's the "politically correct" choice of address, but they had no part to play in its creation like "Latinx".

Being an Englishman who has had to live with travellers/gypsies nearby in the past, I just call them Mongols.

Migratory, loots, pillages and burns, destroy everything they touch, that sort of thing.

We had gypsies in our area for a short period of time. We also used to have a gleaning co-op my mother belonged to; they left after the co-op was shut down because they kept returning the food they got from it to the stores for money.
