It's a false dichotomy as well. Either man is a blank slate or entirely instinct driven to these people. How about a man can be more than the sum of his parts, but those parts are very much there?

Seeing as their opinion is likely rooted in what they think they can gain from from the migrants, the only reason it would change would be if the personal cost to them was greater; and I just don't think this is damaging enough. Maybe if one of them had been crippled, or killed; but short of that, odds are the only thing that's going to change is their security.

In islamic culture that was an incredibly evil act, why because that is a direct violation of the rules of hospitality, by the theifs own culture that is grounds for a blood feud, and would open up his entire family to retrebution. You can not use the cultural differences excuse because in his own culture its actually a even worse act then in sweeden.

There was a sharp increase in cases of rape/murders in Germany after they opened their borders to the refugee hordes.
The victims were often of the same demographic that supported opening the border while the criminals were all recently arrived refugees.
Feminist women screaming about the patriarchy while simultaneously supporting the wholesale import of military-aged single men from highly patriarchal cultures.

Sometimes I just wish for Walking Dead style zombies to show and wipe the slate clean for us.

Not if it's inflicted on non-muslims. Some sects of Islam disagree on this, but by the teachings of Islam, khufar have no rights. They get to convert or die.

Problem is that Islam (and other monotheistic religions, but Islam is especially bad about it) teaches double standards: what is not allowed against a fellow Muslim is allowed against an infidel. Granted, from what I remember, stealing from an unbeliever is permissible only during time of war; but OTOH Islam is basically at constant war against non-Muslim world (dar al-Harb), though post-Muhammad additions introduced the concept of treaties, so...
 
These kind of things never fail to both amuse and sadden me. It's always funny to see someone suffering the consequences of their own actions but usually not as the victims of violence, rape and murder. Like that poor girl, Molly Tibbetts and then her father coming out and defending illegal immigrants.

As the child of first generation immigrants, this whole mass immigration thing is one of the most insulting things I have ever seen.
My parents came over here from China with little money, no connections and built everything we had with their own bare hands (sweat, tears, etc. extra)

Now were have a bunch of idiots up top giving refugees money, all sorts of government assistance, special status, etc.
All of the cost comes from taxpayer dollars.
All of the risks (mentioned above by @Chaos Marine) are sustained by the people
All the benefit (a bunch of new voters who will support the party that let them in) goes to the party that let them in

So when people tell me " You should support refugees because you're a 2nd generation immigrant and understand how they feel"
I reply "No, I don't understand how it feels to get free money from the government every month and a bunch of free government programs, along with special status on top it."

Legal immigration and refugee hordes are two completely different things.
I will support legal immigration with my dying breath and oppose these refugee hordes till my dying breath.

You forget that this matters only for muslims. Infildels, they can lie to, cheat, rape, and murder to one's heart content.
